Ron Paul...end of the middle east conflict with DIGNITY for all?
Ron Paul seems to be at the top regarding our next president for office. Dr. Paul is a RADICAL departure from today's "supposed" conservative canidates as he displays an impecable voting record of honesty & TRUE conservative principles of what our founding fathers envisioned. Could Ron Paul be "THE" person that could lead us out of the middle east conflict with DIGNITY for alll? Ron Paul would certainly be a God sent blessing to America as our commander in cheif during these turbulent times for sure. As our incumbent president, do you beleive that Ron Paul has the ability to pull out our military forces in a way that would not further erode our integrity amongst the nations. A failure in this area could be catastophic regarding foreign relations. As far as domestic policy Ron Paul would prove a winner to all Americans. But, this escalating middle east war is a real stinker to deal with. What's your take on the middle east problem & Ron Pauls generalship in handling this problem?

- Ron Paul is an embarrassment to most Texans, believe me that Dog cant hunt.
- Seems to be causing more trouble than anything.
- It that the same dignity that caused millions to die in Cambodia when we left those people to the dogs so we could leave Vietnam with dignity and peace for all.
- That fool will split the vote and Hillary could win!! Remember Perot!!!!!!!
- Oh give me a break. Ron Paul would totally destroy the U.S. as we know it and the Middle East would shortly take complete control. Clinton, Obama, and Paul...they are all alike.
- I won't vote for any idiot whose wife, Mrs. Paul, invented the fish stick.
- The real question is how are you going to get his own party to take him seriously? I saw him on Bill Mahar and he held up well, but anyone who is that popular with Bill's audience is going to have a tough time winning over the Right Wing Conservatives. I'm not saying he doesn't have a real message, and I am not saying that I wouldn't vote for him myself, but I see him as more of a libertarian candidate than a Republican one. (That is not a smear against Ron Paul in any way. I respect what I saw and am saying that in all sincerity)
- I don't see how apologizing to those who want to kill us is dignified, but maybe that's just me.
- Ron who ?
- Ron Paul is the only one that has any credibility on the Middle East. He's the only one that would get us out of there.
- I see the misinformation machine is going full steam. I'm glad the people who think America can get away with being the bully forever are in full swing still. Someday the piper will come due and you'll wish you actually thought about the rest of the world as people instead of your playthings. At this point, there is no 'dignified' way out of a war that should never have been faught and is only making our reputation worse and producing far more people who hate Americans. Only way I see any dignity OR respect coming out of this would be the trial of the US leaders [impossible] and an impossible amount of reparations made. Very few americans had a direct involvment in initiating this war, and those same few seem to be the only ones making a profit from it. I do see Ron Paul as the only leader willing to say enough is enough, we had no right to do what we did and rather than just keep doing it, get out [maybe from the whole world]. Once we are no longer on thier soil, we may actually get some respect back. They will still hate us, and will always fear us but they probably will not anger us again, because we are the most irrational power on earth, and we do have the biggest guns.
- The only way to end the middle east conflict with dignity for all if for america to stop supporting israel right or wrong. To tell the Zionists it's time to read the Torah and stop oppressing the Palestinians.
- Just like to say, Ethaniel your the man way to be open minded. Anyway Ron Paul is most the reasonable politician i have seen in the 17 years i have lived. His speeches actually makes the American public doubt who they vote for, the war 'some' of them encourage and the way blow backs cause America to pay for its highly imperialistic foreign policy. It is better not to intervene with the complex situation in the Middle East. Ron is totally right when he says how hawks who are ready to nuke all the world should consider how U.S. would feel if tragedies were brought to its own soil.
- From what I can tell, we're losing the respect of the international community by our stubborn refusal to get out of the middle east. If a miracle happened, and RP managed to win the Presidency, he might be seen as an apologist in the short term. In the long term, he'd be seen as the only man with any darned sense. If he managed to achieve his goal of total withdrawal from the mIddle East, we could return to our position as a powerful, benevolent country. Ron Paul implied that he wants to put our troops back on the hunt for Bin Laden.(Remember him?) If he pulled our troops back out of Iraq ( who never attacked us, other poster-person....) and put them back on the hunt for Bin Laden, I think the world would absolutely understand we were at least on the right track again. But since he probably won't win, and we're going to keep building bases in the Middle East, where we do not belong, we're going to have to get used to them hating us.
- I believe it's too late to end the conflict with "dignity for all," but Ron Paul looks very good for my vote and support. He's the only one I see that has a proven record of voting using principles instead of expediency. As far as the middle east, his views on how our nation building is unconstitutional and cause us great harm ring true in my ears. It will take many years to gain the respect (not fear) of the world again, but I think he could help a great deal as President. I'm very happy to have someone to support for President I feel good about.
