Are people roping Ron Paul in with "todays" republicans?
Because right now I see that as his biggest weakness. Republicans have this huge cloud over there head. Republicans are supposed to believe in the constitution and good values. Isolation, Strong National Defense NOT OFFENSE. The Bill of rights, I think everyone would want some Isolation from the world right about now When you think of republicans don't think of the new Century, think of Reagen and Lincoln, two of the greatest presidents of all time. If you want Ron Paul's position in a nutshell here it goes. If it is against the constitution or the bill of rights he votes against it. Ron Paul is Pro-Life Ron Paul Voted against IRAQ from DAY 1!! Ron Paul does not take money from lobbies Ron Paul is against welfare and its encouragement for unemployment Ron Paul will get us out of Iraq Ron Paul will allow us to get out of social security Ron Paul is against immigration and will end amnesty and welfare for them and the birthright citizenship and anchor babies and last but not least RON PAUL WILL LOWER TAXES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And BTW, Heres a little video for you Hillary Fans http://youtube.com/watch?v=FaAkcXynqLA

- Go Ron Paul
- Nah, I don't think we need to worry about being tainted by the image of the Neocons. Ron's got lots of good anti-Neocon speeches out there on youtube, but more importantly, if Ron Paul gets the nomination, it will only be after a very vicious convention with neocons spitting at us and all kinds of evil stuff. Which will be awesome, in my opinion. LOL. I mean, really, there's no better way to go out! Lots of press about the hatred that neocons have for Ron Paul. Ought to stamp out your concern, huh?
- He sounds like a Republican to me on most issues. If he is not, then why does he debate with them? Why not run as an independent?
- just one thing he is non-interventionalist he doesnt want to isolate us - ronpaul2008.com
- If by roping in you mean you want him to be treated and viewed the same way, HELL NO. If by roping in you mean you want him to be thought of as agreeing with him, HELL NO. If by roping in you mean he should have the same opportunity, exposure, time to speak and considered YES.
- Did you HAVE to make me look at John Edwards before dinner? God I want to puke. However here is this one American and her family that say GO RON PAUL!
- Ron Paul 2008.
- Why is it that Ron Paul is always on the end at the debates? The Republican's don't want a candidate like Paul in the center. They have screwed themselves by hitching their wagon to Bush, Cheney, Rove and Rumsfeld (many they rot in prison). Its time to vote them out. After the straw poll there was hardly a mention of Ron Paul's respectable 10 percent showing . They even talked about Mccain with 3.2 and Fred Thompson who isn't running. But thats politics. Vote for people who owe their alleigence to big business and you'll have four more years to complain that theirs no good candidates. Vote Ron Paul, Vote Libertarian, Vote the suckers out.
- Unfortunately, the Republican party still has a greater chance as "one of the two" main parties over smaller parties like the Libertarians. Unfortunately, being looped in with the Repubs comes with its own share of problems, though.
- He rocks my world!!! GO RON YOU DA MAN!!!!!
- Ron Paul transcends all parties and labels. He has Republican, Democrats, Libertarians, Constitutionalist, Freedom Party and Greens voting for him. He also has supporters all over the world who want him to win.
- Thanks to the asker for giving me the opportunity to say that the so-called news reporters asking Ron Paul if he's really a Republican is one step up from asking him his favorite color. I had to watch his interview at google to listen to some genuine and relevant questions being asked. Now, to answer your question, (sort of), since the media is doing such a lousy job reporting the news, it's up to us to let people who don't have access to the internet know about Ron Paul so they don't think he is just a SSDD politician.
