Why are frontrunners of the Democratic and Republican parties running campaigns on their greatest failures?
Hillary Clinton - the issue she's chosen to base her campaign on is health care, which was a embarrassing disaster when Clinton was in office Rudy Giuliani - the issue he's chosen to base his campaign on is national security, for which he claims he is a hero, but pretty much everyone from victims families to fire fighters say he's a horrible liar and a national disgrace for exploiting 9/11 for furthering his political agenda

- I agree. Vote for Fred!
- They need to be more careful, these kinds of things could potentially hurt them. The main reason that John Kerry was nominated, what seperated him from the rest was his Vietnam war record, which they probably thought would make him more credible and more competitive against Bush, but with the Swift Boat ads, the issue which was supposed to be his biggest assets, ended up being a liability and may have in part cost him the election. They should perhaps consider focusing more on the future than the past and be prepared to respond to these kind of potential attacks.
- Rio: to me they're nonissues(neither one of them have any business being president.). Ron Paul is the best and obvious choice bar none. I would look for a 1984 Reagan style repeat on this one. and i'm being serious. Ron Paul 2008. Nice map there Super Tuesday: When Ron paul gets nominated as president. how many states do you think will be red then?
- It shows that people in America have a short memory, and don't care about the past which is why we will repeat it.
- The people want change. I'm sure I'm not the only one saying we'll at least he's the lesser of 2 evils. Let's stop that nonsense and vote in someone who will provide change and make the US great once more. VOTE RON PAUL!!!!
- They hope that America has short attention span !
- Mrs. Rodham Clinton is using the 'boil-the-frog' technique; in that the sheople have languidly succumbed to the barely perceptible raising of the temperature thus now, after so many years, are nearly cooked into accepting the socialist principle. Mr. Giuliani is using the 'fear factor' technique; in that the sheople will be shaking in their boots with fear of another 9/11 and run to accept the war principle. There's a constitutional solution out there... a scholarly gentleman that doesn't use 'techniques', tells the truth, and stands on the high ground where both parties should but fail to even get ashore much less climb the lofty commitments to the constitution. Dr. Ron Paul!
