Are religious Republican voters supporting Rudy Giuliani because they perceive the war on terror as issue #1??

Is Rudy doing so well at this late stage because the religious right perceives his leadership and strength for waging the war on terrorism with his natural convictions (i.e. giving the Saudi Prince his money back rather than accepting his patronizing criticism). Has the religious right accepted a non-ideal candidate issue-wise for and ideal candidate best suited for the issue at hand----defeating those who wish to destroy American Freedom? Followup: Is the possibility of the religious right embracing a mainstream centrist candidate with a record of accomplishment the worst nightmare for left-wing I-want-America-to-leave-Iraq-defeated-by-AlQaeda Hillary supporters?

  1. The Religious Right is threatening to run a Third Party candidate if Giuliani gets the nomination. Please do!
  2. Not being a Republican, nor a Democrat, here is my take on you, my friend...... If Republicans are sooooo very religious, how is it that money is their driving force. "You can not serve God and mam-man(money)"
  3. I see a number of religious Republicans who refuse to support Giulanai on moral grounds. The majority of these voters will not place any issue over there issues.
  4. Don't you know republicans have their own version of the good book?
  5. I think that voters are supporting the candidate of their choice, based on how well they align on issues. We could ask similar questions of supporters of each candidate, and the bottom line is that it's none of our business. No one should be harrassed or drawn out because of their political beliefs, any more than one should be harrassed based on religion, gender, or sexual orientation.
