Is Rudy one of the 5 best known Americans Internationally, or is it just arrogance?

2. he's famous in my book for somehow letting the mob steal thousands of tons of steel from the WTC site... and being unable to even guess where the trucks went... miraculous when you consider that every bridge and tunnell leading from and going to manhatan was wired for max surveillance after 9/11. The bloody guy can work miracles. But maybe not the kind you want.
3. As the past mayor of one of the largest cities in the world, I imagine that he would be pretty well known. 9/11 did end up making him world famous, sadly.

5. His level of exposure during 9/11 has made him very well known internationally, yes. It is so ironic that the libs chastising of Giuliani's efforts on behalf of gays and other's leading alternative lifestyles will make other politicians reluctant to support those same causes.

Off the top of my head, some better known Americans (Good & Bad) Bush 43, Oprah, Bill Gates, Bill Clinton, Michael Jacksom, O.J., and untold hundreds of other sports personalities, muscians and movis stars, etc., Rudy and W seem to share in their delusions of grandeur, what a flipping amoral moron!!!
7. Rudy Giuliani was not that great a mayor and would make a really bad Pres. He's a little man with a big ego. Very mean Guy. All he claims to have done for NYC was started By Mayor Koch. Rudy claimed it all as his. Remember Bush and Mission Acomplised? He would do the same BS. A vote for him is a vote for more of the same.

His position as mayor during NY City's transformation and 9/11 probably make him well known by foreign governments, but the real answer to this question is in the report: "....as onlookers gathered in the lobby to gawk at actor Dustin Hoffman who was on a separate visit....." Rudy G. is definitey no rock star of politics.....hollywood alone has produced more than four or five americans who are better known than Rudy G. so it must be his own arrogance.
