Can Rudy Giuliani be anything more than a Mayor?

4. He was a bad mayor on top of that too, he was a good speaker and did bring hope when needed through his speeches but his actions were a disgrace. Ask any of the first responders if they would vote for him.

7. Rudy, in my opinion, may be a little too hotheaded and egotistical to make a good president. However, he is good with small areas that he can control easily such as NYC.. I would disagree with the statement that Rudy wasn't a good mayor. He lowered crime rates and helped the city through the tragedy of 911.

9. I don't believe he is the best Republican candidate which means he sure isn't the best cadidate over all. I like Rudy, but I'm just not sure he is presidential material.
10. Rudy had his ego stroke when 911 happened and took place in NYC. Rudy was given high praise for his actions following the 911 attacks...I'd like to know what exactly did good old Rudy do? I'm a NY'er and I have to say, Rudy did nothing, and I do mean nothing. It wasn't Rudy who searched countless days for ppl in the huge piles of debris, it wasn't Rudy who cleaned up the huge piles of debris, it wasn't Rudy who arranged the moneys to be paid to those who lost loved ones, it wasn't Rudy who helped the ppl of those who lost loved ones..... Therefore, it's 100% certaint that Rudy would be the last person I'd vote for President, because as we see, we already have a Rudy duplicate in the White House....And it'll take years/generations to get this Country headed in the right direction....
11. Rudy did not lower crime... Police Commissioner Bill Bratton did, mostly with his broken window theory of crime. When Bratton actually tried to take credit for this, and made the cover of Time magazine, he was fired.

15. He wasn't a good mayor and is only running for President on the faulty PR he received on the day of the attacks. If elected, he will declare martial law first chance he gets.
16. From what I have heard and read he wasn't much of a mayor either. Oh sure he did what any big city mayor would have done on 9/11 but that was a very brief period in his term. With no federal experience and the fact that many New Yorkers don't think much of him as mayor I would conclude that he is definately NOT presidential material.
