Why do you think the IAFF hates former mayor Rudy Giuliani?

http://www.rudy-urbanlegend.com/ By the way, IAFF stands for International Association of Firefighters. This really upsets me. They are pouring their hearts out to tell the truth the media was too corrupt to detail. The IAFF are non partisan, you fools! Each one of you who refuse to believe the truth defile the memories of 343 firefighters who lost their lives on 9/11 due to the incompetence of the former mayor.

Public Comments

  1. IAFF in general supports Democrats, and Giuliani threatens to take many of their votes. So I think they're going to bankroll a Swiftboat campaign against him, similar to the Swiftboat smear campaign against John Kerry in 2004, bankrolled by big Republican donors. Its really a shame.
  2. He was a 9/11 administrator.
  3. Because under his abysmal, spectacularly incompetent blundering administration the firefighters on 9/11 still had the same primitive radios that were shown to be ineffective after the 1993 bombing, eight years later. Not to mention his genius decision to put the emergency command center in WTC 7, rendering it unusable on 9/11, thereby pretty much ensuring chaos in communications between FDNY, NYPD, the mayor, etc. Hundreds more firefighters who worked at Ground Zero are now very sick with respiratory illnesses because Giuliani failed to step up and mandate respiratory protection even though he was warned repeatedly by various experts. Then he claimed recently that he was at Ground Zero as much as the rescue workers. What a pile of crap. Interesting video.
  4. Well as a career Firefighter I could careless what the IAFF has to say about anything considering they're nothing but a Liberal money raising Union.
  5. Show me a union that isn't in bed with the Democratic party. Even better, show me a union of government employees who aren't rabidly pro-Democrat. You can't - its like finding a bank that isn't corrupt with Republican money. Ohhhhh, I hate Giuliani, don't worry. That doesn't change the facts about political alliances in this country. This is from the IAFF website: "FIREPAC is the most bi-partisan [labor union] PAC, contributing 30 percent of its funds to Republican candidates." http://www.iaff.org/politics/FIREPAC/how.html
  6. he is such a hypocrite
