Hillary vs Rudy poll?

Will Hillary Clinton run against Rudy Giuliani in the 2008 Presidential race? Both are logical choices to represent their parties. The GOP's Giuliani is a national hero for his 911 efforts as NYC mayor in 2001. And Hillary is probably the democrat's strongest horse, due to her lopsided win as senator from New York State. Also, our former First Lady would no doubt pull sticker support from both parties. Such stickers might read: "RUN HILLARY RUN." Democrats would put the stickers on their rear window. Republicans will paste them on the front bumper, as they jested to do in the Senate race.

3. Bumper stickers don't win presidential races, and I don't think that Hillary Clinton is a viable political candidate ( at least not as much as everyone is making her out to be). It's said that no candidate can win the White House without carrying the south and Hillary can't carry the south. Rudy G. himself is too moderate to win over a lot of conservatives (pro choice, supports gay marriage etc.), and at the end of the day I think turn out would be low and the ultimately the sex factor weights itself in with the majority of men not supporting a woman running for office, but a significant number of women also opposing Clinton for various other reasons.
4. Hillary is to polarizing. Too many people hate her! I don't think the Republicans would have any trouble beating her. Giuliani is a social democrat but a fiscal republican. He would win the Presidency if he can get past John McCain in the Republican primaries.
5. Rudy has a big problem with the fundamentalist wing of the republican party. He is pro choice and pro gay rights. He also had a very public affair while married. If he's considered a national hero it's because he happened to be the mayor of New York on 9/11, not because of anything exceptional that he did. I really think he'll have a rough time getting the nomination.
6. No thanks to either Mrs. Clinton is an extremely polarizing figure, You either love or hate her. Mayor G. is for abortion and this won't go well with Republicans

9. First in New York Senate races Dems always win lop-sided.The Reps are particularly weak in NY.A Dem must be really disliked (Mario Coumo),to lose a state wide race.Hillary may not be that strong nationally.Giuliani is good in a crisis but I'm not sure.I hope some other candidates run.

12. I'm not sure. I don't care for Mrs. Clinton much, but Giuliani differs from me on some of my most passionate issues. I think I'd prefer to see what else the parties have to offer. If I had to choose between just the two of them, I guess I'd go for Mr. Giuliani.
