Fellow Republicans, are you confident that Rudy Giuliani is going to comfortably beat Hillary Clinton?
I am. I think his accomplishments matched up to her years as First Lady in Arkansas and the White House will be a huge advantage. The front runners will get the nominations of their party, how confident are you that Giuliani is going beat Hillary in 2008?
Public Comments
- I am fully confident that neither one will win their party's nomination. Sorry.
- No, I'm not sure he'll beat her "comfortably" or any other way. When a liberal runs against a liberal, the liberal wins every time!
- I, too, am confident that neither of those two will win the primary for their party. I hope not anyway. Rudy is no conservative. The only thing that separates him from Hillary is his stance on the war.
- I'm sorry, but in my opinion Guiliani has too much baggage to be a serious contender. I know that I wouldn't vote for him. If there were a candidate the likes of John Ensign, or Sam Brownback or Tom Tancredo, I'd vote for them...I don't see any hope at all from the Republican frontrunners so far at all. They all seem to be more of the same politico, country-club, insider type of republicrat or demican. We don't have any strong conservative leader in the race. It doesn't matter that Hillary only became a senator to get the presidential nomination...if Guiliani could have beaten her, he shoudn't have backed down in that race.
- Not to be a sexist, but there is no way she will become president. I am not saying we should not have a woman as president, I am saying we as a country would never elect one.
- I would prefer Rudy Giuliani, however Hillary will pull votes from people that do not really 'study the candidates'. A lot of females will vote for her simply because of the gender issue, her White House issues etc. If Rudy and Hillary 'team up' it will be a rough road for the Republican nominees. Glad to hear that your for Rudy.
- If it comes down to that I know plenty of people who will choose Rudy simply because he is the "lesser" of the two evils.
- He better beat about what he did to his wife and children, moving his mistress into the Gracie New York Mansion., If you don't believe me put Giuliani New York Love Nest in your browser or just ask about Giuliani affair with lover his wife now Judi Nathan and can read the whole scandal, what a scandal it was in New York while he was Mayor. His wife at that time was name Donna Hanover the mother of his 2 children that slept in the next room, while he had you know with his mistress. The judge ordered him to put her out of the house with his wife and children also Judi Nathan's daughter was so em brassed, by all this that ask her Father to come get her, which he did and still has the daughter..
- yes
- Giuliani is too politically inexperienced to stand a chance against the wife of the most popular president this century. McCain is practically a shoe in, however, against Hillary. However, I don't believe either candidate, Clinton nor Giuliani has a chance at winning the primary for the party. One is too controversial, the other has a single state voting base, where, coincidentally, he lost favor in the last leg of his tenure.
- I think he can beat her. I'm concerned about a few things, though. I am a conservative and speaking "conservatively" I worry about his stand on some of the important issues, such as abortion and gay marriage. I hate to vote for the "lesser of the two..." but it might entail me sacrificing some of my beliefs to keep Hilary out of office. I think Giuliani is a class act, he's just a wee bit too left for me.
