Please help me...about 2008 elections-need to know a lot about Rudy Giuliani?

If anyone knows main things(main events-why he decided to run for president, things he supports, things he doesn't support) please tell me! And don't just give me a bunch of websites. I am mostly looking for why he decided to run for president and one or two main events in his life that led to him wanting to be president. Thank you so much!
