Rudy Giuliani?

If he runs for president in 2008 would you vote for him? Why or why not?

  1. Maybe, I'd have to get a stronger feel for his stance on important topics such as the issue of illegal invaders. He was very strong in the days following 9/11. He's also very "real", and his skeletons are out of the closet already. It's too early, so I can't say for sure.
  2. Yes, I think I would.
  3. no he is anti gun and pro illegal also pro abortion that might fly in NY not so well where i live
  4. No. He's a Republican but doesn't well represent their platform. I feel that it is hypocritical of him to run to represent a party that doesn't share his views. Despite the fact that I share many of his views and feel he is a good politician, he is playing celebrity politics with the nation and the Republican party. This hypocritical state makes him unworthy for the nations highest seat. He should stay in small government where he has more experience. And when Hillary wins in 2008 (against John McCain, probably), I don't want to have the Republicans to have the right to say (if Giuliani runs), that they didn't have a good canditate that represented them. I want Hill the Hill fair and square.
  5. Depends on who else is running. Maybe.
  6. Only if pigs start flying. He had his 5 minutes.
  7. i have a good deal of respect for him. he's a good guy, and a moderate republican, which i am. maybe.
  8. No I would not. He is pro gun control He is pro abortion He is pro gay marriage He is pro immigration Can't think of anymore reasons necessary to rule him out.
  9. Probably...... need to check out the other R-candidates. And it would be a big "NO" for Hillary :) .
  10. Since he has no experience with and no qualifications for national office, I would say no.
  11. Even though he has a very abrasive personality, he's not going to screw around on things. He'd get my vote
  12. He seems like a nice guy. Beats me why he's in the Republican Party.
  13. No. We would have never heard of him if he hadn't been mayor when 9/11 went down. He did nothing special.
  14. ABSOLUTELY! I have been praying that a moderate Republican will run. I'd vote for him in a heartbeat. If he doesn't get the nod, I hope Newt does.
  15. He has too much baggage. He's a pro choice, pro gay rights republican who had an affair while married. It will be difficult the get the fundamentalist christian wing of the GOP to embrace him.
  16. Only if that's who the Republican party nominates, but I know they can do better. John McCain, Mitt Romney, and Bill Frist are my top picks. Chuck Hagel, Mike Huckabee, and Rick Santorum are good too, but I believe one of the first three will be nominated. Our nation has had entirely too much of New York and Massachusetts left-wing politics.
