If Rudy Giuliani is the Republican Canidate who should he choose as his running mate?

3. Condi Rice. Touche to the Democrats. She would be one tough cookie and very intelligent without Bush and Cheney using her as their fall girl.
4. Probably a right-wing religious extremist would be a good bet.
5. Condie Rice to counter the move for the women vote with Hillary on the Dem ticket, to give Rudy more credible credentials on foreign policy and to also make the ticket competitive in all states.

7. I'm hoping for a McCain-Rudy ticket. Rudy can learn at the feet of the foreign policy and finance master for aterm or two, then I feel he would be better equipped to lead. He still doesn't have any world stage experience aside from parlaying 9/11 into a lucrative consulting gig.
8. Fred Phelps, he would cancel out Giuliani's liberalness, and possibly sway some of the religious extremists to vote for him.
9. I'm a Democrat, but looking at this impartially, I think if Rudy gets the nomination, he's going to need to have a running mate that will satisfy the conservative Republican base. Also someone who is not from the east coast in an effort to balance the ticket nationally. Fred Thompson would best fit the bill in my opinion, but at the moment, it looks like he is just going through the motions in his quest for the nomination.
10. Condolisa Rice is far more intelligent than most of the candidates in the race. Then why shall she choose to be the deputy of Rudy ? She is an 100% electable presidential candidate for 2012 elections. Rudy should get Karl Rove as his running mate if he can convince him.
11. I've always thought it should be the runner-up in the primaries. To me, it just makes sense. I don't understand why that is not the practice.
