Rudy Giuliani follows the Bible? Who knew???
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/wn_report/2007/09/28/2007-09-28_rudy_giuliani_turns_to_bible_to_explain_.html He told a Christian radio station that no one should just his personal life. He quoted the scripture: He who is without sin, cast the first stone (John 8:7) and Judge not, lest ye be judged (Matthew 7:1) I guess he forgot the scriptures pertaining to adultery....perhaps Donna Hanover can help him out with those.

- Everyone sins dear. No one is perfect. I am not condoning his behavior, but God is supposedly forgiving.
- So he expects everyone ELSE to live by the Bible's teachings while he does as he pleases and ignores it? Hypocritical if you ask me...............
- Let the one without sin cast the first stone.
- As a Christian, I see both sides. People like to bring up Matthew 7:1, but they ignore the "Go and sin no more..." It's a balance. BUT, the question is one of politics, and not Christian doctrine. So for me, the issue must be placed in its proper perspective. Certainly he would be unqualified to head a Church, following Biblical rules. But the government is not a Church.
- You should get on the one about how can you take a spec out of someone else's eye while you have a log in your own. That too is in the Bible.
- He's desperately pandering for the religious vote. You can't blame him for trying, considering his lack of support amongst the fanatical Christian faction of the Republican base.
- many people who are guilty will always use the bible to excuse their behavior. this is why we have so much corruption in the faith. "christians" interpret the bible to mold their beliefs and pick certain scriptures they want to follow. they either quote "he who is without sin" or "judge not lest ye be judged" while obliterating other scriptures that condemn their other sins such as adultry. i find this quite funny. The bible says to not do many things but they do it anyway and to excuse themselves they take the one bible verse they want OTHERS to follow so you wont accuse them and so they can continue to do what they are doing. its a deliberate attempt to take God's name in vain and not to mention highly selfish. Rudy is telling others what to follow when its apparant he doesnt follow the scriptures as well.
