Will Rudy Giuliani continue to pimp out the 9/11 victims for political gain after he loses the election?

Rudy Giuliani has been dancing on the graves of the 9/11 victims for 6 years now in a vain attempt to gain political clout. His lack of planning and poor performance was responsible for the deaths of many fire, police and rescue workers. Countless more 9/11 heroes are left with respiratory and other ailments as a result of Giuliani's political pandering and lack of actual support. After Giuliani is soundly defeated in the upcoming elections, will he continue to try to make his name off of the 9/11 victims?

  1. Absolutely - he's made a cottage industry out of it - why stop now, especially if he can make a buck doing it! I can't believe anyone would vote for this guy based on a couple of sound bites from 9/11. He should share in the responsibility for the disorganized situation encountered by first responders because he insisted on putting the emergency response HQ back in the Twin Towers after the 1993 attack and after he was advised by numerous people not to! He also never fixed the problem with the radios not communicating which was uncovered years before. He is not an effective leader and no way should be considered presidential material!
  2. Why should the loss of an election stop him? Nothing else has. It scares me to think people would take him seriously just because of 9/11. They need to look at what he did the rest of his tenure. Turning Times Square into Disneyland doesn't make him a good mayor. And not falling apart on camera after 9/11 doesn't make him a good presidential candidate.
  3. Remember Bush and some of his cronies rode the same bandwagon and look where they are now, I'll be surprised if he gets the nomination, soon the wheels will come off and they'll see what he is, once the skeltons start coming out of the closet.
  4. Yes, I firmly believe that he will toot his own horn at the expense of the victims and their families 'til the day he dies.
  5. I have lost alot of respect for him these last few months.
  6. What could you have done that was better, in the time frame he had to make the decisions he did. No Monday quarterbacking here. You be the perfect person in a tragedy, then everyone will look to you when something happens. In fact when Katrina hit, why weren't you there guiding all levels of the government, since you are so wonderful at solving tragedies? Oh and I don't care about who is president, I firmly believe God's Kingdom will do what every other government power has failed to do. But attacking someones best in a situation thrust upon them, is way wrong. Until you can prove that in the same type of circumstances you are competent and capable of doing better. And the only way to prove that is you prove it.
  7. I dont think that is what he is doing.....he just doesnt want anyone to forget that day.....which we should never forget 9/11. I think some people do need reminding sometimes. Giuliani supported 9/11 victims families...I felt he was one of the heroes...People still respond to him and I think he will be a major contender in the upcoming election. Just my opinion.
  8. Your cynicism is rabid and unfair. Guiliani did a good job the day of the attacks, and has every right to attend the memorial tribute today. It's insanity and the worst kind of Monday morning quarterbacking to say he should or could have done more to save the firefighters. No one (or very few people) foresaw the building's collapse.
  9. He will. I'm sick of hearing him refer to all the heroic acts he is responsible for after the tragedy. I'm sick of seeing his face. To his supporters who accuse the detractors of engaging in Monday morning qb'ing...that's really not the issue here. The issue is many people believe he needs to stop dancing on the graves of the victims whilst blowing his own horn about how great a job he did! I mean, c'mon! Enough already! We get it!
  10. Just because you don't like Rudy, doesn't mean he's all of a sudden responsible for the deaths of heroes on 9/11. You are a jack-ass for making those assertions. You know they're not true but you don't give a crap...Guiliani Sucks is your mantra and to hell with facts. Dig deep and find some integrity for pete's sake...there are actual legitimate reasons for despising Rudy if you'll just do a little homework, you knob.
  11. A better question would be who does Giuliani want as a running mate? And does he want a second term?
