  2. Joe Biden, Jr. (Dem. -- Delaware) The essential thing about Joe Biden, hilariously the former head of the Senate Ethics Committee (on which Ted Kennedy also sat at the time!?!) is that he was sanctioned for plagiarism is university, and then, not learning his lesson, was caught stealing election speeches word for word from then-candidate for Prime Minister of England, Neil Kinnock. His moral stance is therefore counterfeit. Whatever stance he may say he believes in is not to be trusted, nor his claims of any position on any issue. So answering your questions about abortion, Iraq and so on is the equivalent of asking which way the wind is blowing at the moment -- and equally useless as any reference for the future. Now as to your question: whether the American people want to elect a President like that? If you look at present circumstances, the answer is evidently not as obvious as it would seem -- voters just might do the same as last time: not that there was an alternative to baloney on the Democratic menu then, either.
