- I feel bad for these guys, as they have both been in politics for most of their lives...then again, maybe that's the problem.
- I'm surprised he's not doing better then Hillary too. BTW,I'm Spartacus and so is my wife! LOL!
- Colbert is a comedian who is facing severe elections penalties. He'll be pulling out of the race soon.
- I have no doubt that he is a hero to Liberals, his comedy is so Heinous that someone who is incapable of separating reality from ridiculous could easily be fooled.
- Actually, I think Colbert's candidacy will attract a more diverse and representative group of people to the polls in SC, and that's good because usually it's just the "base" that selects the candidates
- I don’t think the people polled were responding seriously regarding the Colbert presidential campaign. It’s a shame that Biden and Richardson haven’t been able to do better because they are both good candidates. I think the problem is that the Democrats have too many good candidates. Poll respondents realize that most of them don’t have a real of winning.
- Well, in one poll I saw that had a margin of error of plus/minus 2%, they had Biden at 2%. So it is at least theoretically possible that Joe Biden does not exist... Although I've seen his hairplugs, so I KNOW he exists... If you see these things as just horseraces, yes, they should both drop out. And so should Ron Paul, and whoever the various socialist parties' candidates are. But this ISN'T a horse race. And the socialists, and the few honest pro-capitalists like Paul, need to be there to give people a CHOICE, and as an educational measure. It takes a long time for people to learn good sense. We have nonsense shoved down our throat every day. The Republican abolitionists were on the ballot for 11 years before they took the presidency and started the process of ending slavery. It will take longer than that for us to get the ball rolling on ending capitalism. And limiting choices, even pro-capitalist choices like Biden and Richardson, is not the way to get that process going. So I say, let 'em keep running. Even if a comedian does better in the polls. And a modern day American's version of the old movie scene? "HE'S Spartacus!" "No, HE'S Spartacus!" (Chuckle) Monty Python and Kirk Douglas... how could we go wrong?
- Isn't Cobert running as a republican?
