Public Comments
- Hillary!
- Which Democrat has the best chance to win in 2008? Hopefully none !!! Tax the poor !!!
- None can beat Jeb Bush Go big Red Go
- my next door neighbor bubba
- None, they don't stand a chance...there's too many educated people in the US!
- i would say osamba or whatever his name is....but as history goes there has to be a white woman first then in a couple years maybe a black man.
- The Republicans messed up our foreign policy to such an extent, that any one Democrat can win the elections!
- Not really anyone...... people will be sick of Dems again after 2 years of Nancy and Harry Reid.
- If I were a democrat...which I'm not, I'd have to say Edwards. He has less of an offensive record to run on. Not gonna happen though, McCain/Guliani will win easily.
- I'm a conservative, and I am thanking my lucky stars that Mark Warner (former governor of Virginia) decided not to run. He was the Democrats' best hope. All of the "front-runners" are too polarizing for many moderate voters (the ones you need to get in order to be elected). Tom Vilsack could actually have a chance. Or Evan Bayh, if he decided to run. And this is coming from a conservative, so take it as you want.
- Hilary will win it all and her vice president will be Osama go Hilary
- Joe Biden is a good choice for Democrats, although I fear the party base will not endorse him.
- In order, these are the ones I think stand the best chance. At this point, with public opinion of Republicans so low, and rightfully so, just about any Democrat could win. But many things will change between now and election day. I am sure my list will change in my own mind. 1. Barak Obama 2. Al Gore (he will overcome all the previous slander) 3. John Edwards 4. Hillary Clinton 5. Joe Biden
- Barack Obama would be a strong cnadidate in the 2008 elections. He is an honest and intelligent man; but I'm not sure if he might win the electios. there are other strong Dem. candidates, such as Clinton.
- EDUCATING IDIOTS It doesn't matter because Sen. John McCain, War Hero and Prisoner of War, is so far ahead of every potential Democratic candidate that the Republicans will easily win again. Anyway, as for Joe Biden, you are joking, right? You mean this azz-clown? http://youtube.com/watch?v=qFduMuP7v-k http://youtube.com/watch?v=OIT3jUrNTX0 As for you B. Hussein Obama fans, you obviously jest, right? Did you people fall out of the sky with yesterday's rain? Get an education. To have ANY chance of winning the Presidency, you have to win a good portion of the South. Do you think that a radical Liberal could ever win the South? Now, let's add the fact that his name is B. Hussein Obama. Finally, let's add the additional fact that he's black. Oh, but wait, hmm, I wonder what Christian voters in the South and everywhere else are going to think about Homies' admitted cocaine usage too. This guy couldn't win 1% of the vote in the South. His chances of winning the Presidency in 2008 or EVER is LESS THAN ZERO. What a joke. B. Hussein Obama as the Democrats' nominee would be a dream too good to be true for Republicans. Even in natiowide polls, Senator John McCain, War Hero and Prisoner of War, is 21% ahead of Hillary Clinton and a whopping 32% ahead of B. Hussein Obama. Get in the game idiots.
- Here I am, Super Liberal (NOT Marxist, by the way...), and I don't see anyone out there who I would care to vote for. Hillary would just lose, as would Obama. I want an intelligent, non-politician, with honesty, integrity, LOTS ans LOTS of good advisers (of course if he/she HAD good advisers, they would advise the person NOT to run....), who has NO "experience" in the present legislative arm of the government! (I like the idea of a judge!)
- Wesley Clark. Moderate, experienced in war and diplomacy, articulate and smart.
- Chavez. LOL!
- I like Dennis Kucinich, that brilliant Congressman from Ohio that saved the people of Cleveland millions of dollars after Muni light tried to commit an Enron-style takeover, while he was mayor of his city.
- In the end the best hope for the mules , is Hillary. but that's a daunting task , I remember the 1984 vice presidential election debate, between the other bush and former New Jersey Gov. Geraldine Ferraro. The entire speech was bush berating Ferraro about being a woman. It should be noted, this display is the highest rated debate in the history of the debates, kinda says something huh? I'm hopeful for Barack Obama down the road but he is to new right now.Folks thier's a reason he didn't vote for the war.He wasn't there.
- Personally, I think Joe Biden is the best-qualified of all the Democratic candidates, but he doesn't stand any more a chance than you or I. Why? Because he's from a little state - Delaware - that has at the most 4-5 electoral votes - probably more like 2 or 3 and that's what wins elections (think 2000). And, the Dems need someone from a state with a lot of electoral votes. Best chance of winning - probably Hillary Clinton. Barack Obama is a shooting star right now that will flame out in time - wait 'till Hillary and some of the others sink their teeth into him during a campaign. And, this country isn't ready for a Black President - he would be better served as Hillary's running-mate - it will probably be either him or Dick Durbin, both from Illinois with lots of electoral votes - also solidly Democratic. I can see Biden as Secretary of State if he wants it. And for those who say McCain will win - no way - that would be like 4 more years of Bush. McCain has become Bush's lapdog and apologist and wants to send more troops to Iraq. People are sick of the war. Watch his support fall as time goes by. And by the way, as a Dem, I admire McCain for his actions in Viet Nam, but he won't be the next President.
- probally Obama or Edwards. but I hope we see more people stating their intentions to run
- my vote is for u, please run!
- EDWARDS,maybe even Biden! Why on earth would someone want another BUSH!
