1. If he was the Democratic nominee, I probably would. I was really impressed with his questioning of John Ashcroft on the torture being practiced at Guantanamo. You can't tell from this quote, but his voice was trembling with outrage. "There's a reason why we sign these treaties," Senator Joseph R. Biden, Democrat of Delaware, reminded Ashcroft at the hearing. "To protect my son in the military. That's why we have these treaties, so when Americans are captured, they are not tortured."
