are you on the list?

This is my last post on this forum. I have no reason to trust our Government with my opinons. The NSA spy program is far bigger than I could ever dream. A direct quote "The reason the Patrick Fitzgerald grand jury may question Mr. Bush’s sidestepping the courts for domestic spying on Americans lies in the fact that according Senator Joe Biden, Bush could have conducted electronic surveillance for 72 hours without even telling the court; but then he would have to tell a judge who he wiretapped—leaving a legal paper trail. Keeping “the list” covered up prevents publicizing presidential abuse of power; but the issue of shredded documents becomes problematic for a grand jury, even as Bush summoned New York Times executives to the oval office on December 6 to ask them not to make public his secret spying program—10 days before the story ran."

  5. I used to be required to know the laws on collection of a US citizen. As stated in our regulations, a US citizen is not to be collected upon without proper authority, only in cases where the persons monitored are possible threats to other US citizens. Any information collected by accident is to be reported to proper authorities, and then the information is to be destroyed. Bush would be a proper authority, much higher than those that authorized us to collect. He had due reason to collect, and the evidence was destroyed to eliminate possibility of dissemination of information collected about a US citizen. The person collect on doesn not necessarily have to be informed unless it is harmful only to themselves, and legally obtained information. i may have skewed a few things slightly, but basically, according to regs, it is legit.

  7. Oh yeah. The real secret is that we all are. They don't need a list. The average person in a big city is photographed 20 times per hour, no matter where they go. The NSA at least has some guidelines as to what they do with the information they collect. Corporations who have cameras, databases, credit info, etc., have no guidelines and the only morality allowed is 'profit'. Be very afraid. Then move on, because the fact that you can think makes you valuable in a world of sheep. Flexibility is the key, and Net Creativity is what Nature counts. Everything in the news is a show; contrived, produced, and sold through advertising. If you aren't angry or afraid, you aren't paying attention. The only big glitch with the recent spying issue is that Mr. Bush and the NSA decided (well, probably Dick decided)to bypass the standard protocol (paying the Israeli Mossad or MI-6 for the information) and spied directly on us. If we work on local issues and economics, we can make the Globalization Mongers go away, but it takes work and local control of our lives, not 'national campaigns' of infiltrated newsies and fake activists.
  8. Very interesting...
  9. No I wouldn't have my job if I was
  10. Maybe? There I have answered your question so you do not need to report me again. Jack, please do not leave. Your posts are filled with so many inconsistancies that they are downright comical. Please reconsider and keep all of us rational thinkers entertained.
