Anyone see Joe Biden on Meet The Press yesterday?

I was listening to him and I could help but think if we had Biden's kind of clarity in the White House right now we wouldnt be in the mess we're in. Sounds like he'd make a good president. You thoughts?

Public Comments

  1. Biden is the consumate slimy politician with a bad hair weave. He is the last guy I want as commander in chief.
  2. he is one of the most powerful senators in the congress and is extremely intelligent. he will never be elected cause he will not appeal to the masses. he makes GWB look like a freshman cheerleader
  3. The idea that 30% of Americans can listen to George Bush without cringing in embarassment is profoundly disturbing.
  4. I don't think so. At the 7-11 near me,they have a pic of Biden with a Hitler mustache on it.
  5. Network TV sucks...I would rather read.
  6. Saw it and I totally agree. I still have a problem with his (and everyone else's) vote to authorize in '03, but he is absolutely the most presidential of the candidates (Dodd actually runs close behind). Early in the campaign I was concerned about his bloviating, but he's emerging to be an instinctively competent, intelligent, ready-NOW candidate. I'm liking him a whole lot right now. I'm totally certain that in a one-on-one against any one of the Republicans, he'd give no quarter - and the funniest thing is that he'd do best against Guiliani, who would only get flustered facing Biden.
  7. More impressive than I thought he'd be. But he talks above the intelligence level that we're used to hearing, and has a real written plan for Iraq. I know these are DISqualifications. And if he gets above 10% in the polls, the Republicans will insinuate that he incinerated his wife and child 30 years ago, and replay his "articulate" and "clean" description of Obama thousands and thousands of times...
  8. Yes, and I thought he made sense. Your comment about clarity hit the nail on the head. He seems to have a grasp on what is going on regarding Iraq, and what needs to be done and why.
  9. I watched it and I was impressed. He definitely held his own while under fire from Russert. It is still to early for me to say who I will vote for.
  10. I agree, I think he would be terrific in the White House, but I don't think he has enough charisma to be President. I know that no candidate is running for VP, but I would campaign until I dropped if it were an Obama/Biden ticket!
  11. Biden? Were you drinking the previous night and happened to still be up? What a crock!
