Republicans: If you HAD to vote for a Democratic candidate for president, who would it be and why?

1. Joe Lieberman is the only democrat I would consider. He uses common sense on most of the issues. But I agree more with him than any other socialist out there. I however do not agree with him on his siding with other democrats in wanting amnesty for illegals.

3. the only Dem i could vote for is Lieberman. i know,he's an independent now.
4. i think the smartest democrat is Zell Miller. the rest are criminals, and each should be in a cell with all the dead bodies that Hillary is standing on.
5. Hillary Clinton because she is a policy wonk and knows all of the issues in detail. She is experienced and can get down and dirty with the biggest of the bad boys and win.
6. I'm not a repub but the last time I voted for a democrat, he was shot in the head.
7. Liberman if he was on there but since he's not...anyone that would hurt Hillary's chances.

I'd vote from me, stay neutral check in to where technology is headed, educate are future, give rewards for advancing tha way we live, let tha people propose ideas DIRECTLY to legislature, and oh yeah legalize tha pot, as long as it's just as illegal as tha other drugs decent americans will have to deal with hardened criminals
10. Believe it or not, there are people registered as Republicans who would easily vote for a Democratic candidate (in spite of their party). Some of us vote along the lines of issues, rather than partisan politics. John Edwards. jmw
11. Mike Gravel. He may be the only one on that list that isn't a socialist.
12. Hillary Clinton. She is the most centrist & makes the most sense. Her experience & her commitment to the politics & well-being of this country goes all the way back to HS & College. You can read all about this in today's (9/5/07) NY Times.
13. From that list, Joe Biden. The only one on the list I have ANY respect for.

15. A person with the aspirations of conservative thinking could not is his right mind pick any of the ones you have chosen. There is no way in hale I'd go to the poles. I'd start looking for ways to immigrate to Australia.
16. Definitely Hubert Humphrey. Being dead, he couldn't do much damage.

18. If you can nominate someone with JFK believes, that would be it. otherwise I would stay home

20. How did I know I would see a bunch of Lieberman replies here right away. I believe the Democrats of Connecticut made clear in the 06 primary (and they speak for virtually all of us Dems) that you guys can have Senator Joe Lieberman, R - Israel
21. the only democrat i would vote for would be Joe Liberman, but since he is an Independent. I would say none.
