Will Joe Biden run on an Independent ticket.?
I am a Republican who will admit that I am not very happy with my party right now. That in no way means that I agree with anything the democrats are doing. I will vote republican again if Fred Thompson gets the nomination but that doesn't seem likely. I would consider Joe Biden but I will not vote for anyone who runs under the democatic banner. Joe F: You are exactly right , but voting for someone who runs under the democratic banner might give some some people that I am putting a stamp of approval on all the democratic policies and that's not true.

- I vote person, not party. There are both good dems and good republicans... the parties just tend to silence them.
- I'm going for McCain. Bc he's a person, not a party standard bearer. Works across thei aisle. Principled and experienced. Best candidate in either field by a country mile.
- lol... so you'd vote for biden if he ran as an independant, but not if he wins the nomination? that's pretty stupid... he's Joe Biden either way.
- I must say, that I am a staunch Republican, but what I have heard from Biden, was better than any of the others on stage during the debates. If I was ever to have to vote Dem, I would want somebody like him.
- I totally agree with Green man! I am voting for the person this time around. We have to much to lose at this point and we must vote responsibly. I would love to see Bidden win his parties nomination because he is the strongest for that party...and I also agree with your choice for Thompson on the other ticket! Its gonna take some time before we know... But keep an open mind!
- Joe Biden is not going to run as an independent, but please don't let the fact that he's a democrat discourage you from voting for him. here are some videos that i hope will help change your mind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vxWwZA9gk4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T--LCh8ryOc&feature=user these show who Joe Biden really is and what separates him from any other candidate. on the second video, don't turn away after the first minute. from about 2:00 to the end is the best speech i have seen in quite some time.
- Who cares? We don't know who he is, a Congressman, Senator, Guvoornator? What. What does he stand for? Anything?
- Good ol' Joe. Great sense of humor but the least bad of the worst possible choices for our hung dog country currently. Tide down, starved, being eaten alive by hungry insects ...I would vote for him. He kinda strikes me as an LBJ sort. Wouldn't do much bad, might do some good but wouldn't stand out in the crowd. We need some strength and guts to get us through recovery from the Bush years. Assuming we DO recover.
- we can only hope, I am a democrat but I want to win and I cant see Hillary or Obama winning general election. Biden best candidate to pull open minded gop votes and independents. Only yellow dog democrats like myself would vote for Hillary or Obama
- Thank God for organized religion and political parties. Takes away all that need to think for yourself! Get a grip. Vote for the candidate, not the party. I have to admit, Joe Biden comes across very well on those rare moments he is allowed to speak at the debates. There's no way he would run on an independent ticket. Chances are, Hillary will get the nomination for the Dems. In my opinion, he should be on her short list for potential VP's.
- Chuck Hagle/Joe Biden would be sweet.
