Democrats:Why is Joe Biden not getting the support for the presidency that he deserves?

As a Democrat I think Joe Biden is a decent, experienced ,good and respected person and politician. Hillary and Obama are digging their own graves and contradicting themselves but Joe Biden is not. He has a plan for Iraq and really seems to want to do what is best for our country so why does he not have more support from our party?

1. The corporate media doesn't like him because he speaks intelligently and deeply, which is way over the head of their viewers. They prefer candidates who speak in moronic sound bites that their slack-jawed viewers can "digest".
2. I think he's the dems best choice. He's very seasoned, smart and pretty moderate. I need to read up on his plans for Iraq and his domestic ideas, but he seems very civil.
3. I think his position on the war does not appeal to most Democrats. Not only did he vote for it, but he was Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in 2002 when the war vote was taken. He chaired all of those meetings where Iraqi defectors and other dishonest people told their lies about weapons of mass destruction, and you never heard anybody with a contrary opinion. As for his partition plan, I think Iraq will fall apart anyway after a civil war. I do not think the U.S. can prevent that with Biden's plan. The only effect it would have would be to commit the United States to defend a newly independent Kurdistan, which I think would be a VERY bad idea. The last thing we need is more reasons to go to war in the Middle East, in my opinion.
4. Biden has the albatross around his neck of the 1988 primaries where he had to drop out due to his plagerism. He'll never be a viable candidate for President because of that. It will always come back to haunt him. If his opponents in the primaries don't play that up, the Republicans most definitely would.
5. biden is one of the very few discussing iraq with any real clarity, and that's incredibly admirable. it's a combination of things really...who people think can win, who's fresh, who has the most loyal supporters, which is based on any number of things trivial or otherwise, and other stuff. contradictions is a forgiven sin in pols today because they all, even biden, do it so frequently. biden has his faults certainly, but he's one of the few i would really like to see become president of the slate we're being offered. i should say, i'm not a democrat, but the answer to your question, if there is just one, is that time passed him by, and personality rules the day. maybe that's two:)
6. I agree. I am a conservative but out of all the Democratic candidates he is the best. He speaks his mind and doesn't bend. He at least has a plan for Iraq(although I don't agree with it). He though, has very little national recognition and standing within the party. The media only pays attention to the frontrunners. For a conservative the same could be asked about why Huckabee isn't getting media attention. The media wants big and well known names, that is the game they play, money and politics.
7. Biden is not a strong enough candidate. Also if you look at his background you will find that he has done several stupid moves in the past, since the Clarence Thomas fiasco, which have sort of put him in a bad spot light. I know that during the hearings I had a very strong positive feeling about him and thought he was someone who was going to go somewhere. Then he sort of shot himself in the foot. Go back and read more about him and what he has done and you will understand why he is the underdog and really has no chance of going anywhere, which in a way is a shame. he seemed so good for awhile.
8. Biden is an old power-hungry, prissy coot who is owned by the DuPonts. He is a corporate, globalist puppet.
9. Because the mainstream media hasn't chosen him as a leading candidate. It's happening on both sides of the isle. How come Duncan Hunter isn't getting the support he deserves? He's very conservative on many issues yet the mainstream media calls Rudy Giuliani a conservative (when he's far from it) and he gets all the attention. Just another reason to turn off NBC, CNN, FOX, CBS, ABC, and NBC.
10. He would probably be a good president but he is the kind of career politician that people think of when they here the words "status quo" or "Washington insider." Also, he had to drop out of the 1988 race when news of his plagiarism in college or grad school surfaced.
11. Because he's trying to steal Kucinich's thunder. Kucinich has been a 9/11 Truther since the beginning, AND wants Bush Jr. impeached. I don't know about his plans regarding The War ... warfare stuff is child's play, and it sickens me that taxpayer money goes to it. Kucinich is the only one I know who's not taking orders from the "Private Insurance"-checkbook. I haven't heard Biden's story there.
