Do we support McCain over his flip-flop on the Iraq issue?
http://www.electionspeak.com/USElectionVideos/343 In this video from 1994, John McCain gives reasons to back his argument to withdraw US troops from Haiti. On the same issue, McCain, during a town hall meeting in New Hampshire, says troops may stay on in Iraq for even a 100 years. http://www.electionspeak.com/USElectionVideos/345 Will you vote for McCain??? Who has enough power to be a next US president 2008?

- How does a stance on two different conflicts translate into a "flip-flop on the Iraq issue?" Haiti and Iraq. Apples and Oranges.
- No, I will vote for Ron Paul, a man who will take troops OUT of Iraq, balance the budget, and cut taxes for EVERYONE.
- I will not vote for McCain. He supports amnesty, supports having troops in Iraq for 100 years, and wants military strikes against Iran. The man is simply crazy.
- I think McCain at 72 is too old for this stressful office and at times he shows it. He comes from power and money with his dad the admiral and is more likely to get us into another war. He has been in Congress for sometime now and I do not see him really making a real impact for change, it would be politics as usual. I would vote for Edwards, I am an independent, he is the best candidate and most dedicated without coming from rich and influential backgrounds and favors.
- We aren't going to be a great nation much longer thanks to the super tankers of cash we are sending to India, China and Saudi Arabia so who the next president is no big deal. McCain is a better candidate because he used to know what the truth was. The other republicans, except for Ron Paul, have never known truth from lie.
- it must be nice to be you, setting there at your computer down talking a man that would suffer in pain to see that his comrades could go home. you really should learn a little about the man because he loves his country and his countrymen.
- I wouldn't support him in any case, after voting to keep him as my Senator twice, but his position on Irag can hardly be called a flip-flop. We had no business to be in Haiti in the first place, any more than we have in Bosnia....and who committed troops to both places? THAT'S where we'll be for 100 years. If you recall, Hussein was funding and training terrorists that DID attack us. Not the same issue at all.
- I agree with AJ, he is getting to old. He might be okay right now but once people start getting old anything can go wrong at anytime. I used to think that my father -in-law was going to make it to his hundreds birthday. One month his health tests "would be the envy of some thirty year olds" as his doctor put it, the next month he was in the hospital and six month later he was dead. Same thing with my friends mom.
