Will John McCain be the front runner for president in 2008?

Public Comments

  1. Maybe.
  2. I hope not.
  3. all depends if he decides to run ?
  4. lets hope, to God, not
  5. I don't think so - I think he's worn out his welcome. 2008 is certainly going to be a republican vs. democrat showdown, that's for sure. A whole lot of names have been bantered about for both parties, but I don't see anyone rising to the occasion as yet, but it's still early.
  6. No the Swift boat for Jesus crew is going to prove that McCain put himself in prison In North Vietnam so he could fabricate the story of his capture. McCain faked his torture and flip floped on issues. Go big Red Go
  7. Of course he will be as he sold his soul to the republican power brokers about 20 months ago...they have the fix in already and in order to be president, McCain had to play ball, so you can be assured that he will be, no matter who the dems run against the republicans and their easily hacked Debold machines, and their unethical application of election laws in various states (example, in 2000 a voting cite in Cleveland had 22 voting machine, largely black and democratic region, but in 2004 there were only 8 machines, and two broke down, leaving long lines around the corner and many people did not get to vote)...3.5-6 million voters whose votes did not count? Hacked voting machines? Rigged results? This is no longer a democracy because of fixed elections, in fact two fixed presidential elections! If Bush hadn't stole the leections, we would not be in Iraq and Osama woould have been toasted already...what a country, I would laugh except it is not funny
  8. I hope not. Please why mention it, I was having a good day!
  9. I hope not. He is easily swayed from his position. He lacks conviction.
  10. I think that he will be the nominee. I am not particularly excited about that. He is just not quite conservative enough for me. I think that the primaries will be close between him and Giuliani, and out of the two I would vote for McCain as Giuliani is pro-choice. I think that the country is not yet ready for another hardcore Conservative so I think that if we nominated someone like Bill Frist or George Allen, the we would be defeated in November. It is still all a little shaky, and lots can happen between then and now, but I do know one thing: I don't want Hillary. I would almost rather Bill be elected again.
