John McCain or Jeb Bush for pres. in 2008?

Public Comments

  1. neither
  2. Do you mean who would I want to win, or who will win the Republican nomination for President in 2008? I would prefer McCain. Despite his recent pandering to the right, McCain has shown a history of voting with his conscience and really trying to find the right result, not the one most likely to get him re-elected (the last few years changed his image in my mind a bit, but he's still a front-runner in the Republican party for me). And I don't think I could handle another Bush in the White House. Jeb's handling of the Schiavo case was painful to watch. As for you will win it? I'd still go with McCain. He's picked up a lot of GW Bush's campaign team and monetary support. He's a front-runner at this time. But there's a long time to get there, a lot of other candidates out there (i.e., Giuliani, Romney, Pataki, etc.), and a whole slew of Democrats who want to get to the White House in 2008, too.
  3. neither. we need someone who is not relative or business oriented in the white house.
  4. Neither, I hope. I like John but he is just too much of a hawk.
  5. If they are all that we have to offer......we are in deep dodo! What a couple of loosers.
  6. John McCain; but he nor Jeb Bush dont plan to run. So who cares even though i would like Condi to run not because i aggree with her ideology but i would like to see a black female president.
  7. None and John is like his own political party
  8. neither
  9. McCain is a RINO (Republican In Name Only) and NOT a conservative. Jeb Bush would make a good president, but another Bush will not be elected to the White House any time soon. Rudy Guiliani is ramping up for a run at the White House, and I still think Condoleeza Rice is the most qualified person to occupy the Oval Office today.
  10. I think Im goint to go with a different party this year.
  11. Anybody besides Hillary!
  12. Please, somebody / anybody else!
  13. keep dreaming. bush has slaughtered any chances of any GOP candidate winning for the next few elections. but hypothetically? McCain. He seems to recognize that "diplomacy" is not a word copyrighted by the Democrats
