what changes will senator john mccain bring if elected president?
former aviator and prisoner of war maybe get rid of guantanamo and the use of torture
Public Comments
- Maybe another Vietnam?
- I think he would push through an amnesty bill for anyone who is in the US illegal. This is great for big business. It's not so great if you have to compete with these people for jobs. I can't think of any other changes he would make.
- NONE-he is a george bush jr. he agrees with EVERYTHING george bush does and says. so if if he is elected we are going to have the same issues we do now and no change for the better
- I second Nicole T's comment
- He would grant amnesty to the illegals.
- He will be the first President to speak in a monotone.
- He loves war, so after watching his Rambo collection, he'll press that big red button and destroy half the world. Then he'll think of a reason to attack Canada.
- Amnesty for illegals.
- Please go directly to the source :) http://www.johnmccain.com Courageous Service~Experienced Leadership~Bold Solutions I firmly believe he is his own man. He can keep America safe and can work to rid Washington of useless spending. His immigration ideas are not amnesty. They are solutions to a 20 plus yr problem. He is the most trusted and experienced one of the whole bunch. Both sides of the aisle. Thank you.
- He will fight deficit spending He will make being an old white man hip again.
- That's one crazy old man, he can't even tell a joke right. I think it will be a mistake for the republicans to give him the white house just because he's old. I personally think it's time for him to visit Shady Resort Home for the elderly....
- McCain will bring a hot temper & more wars! Not what we need at all. No more old men in the White House! He needs to retire from the Senate, pick out a nice old-folk's home in Arizona, & live happily ever after.
- He may focus more on the war in Iraq for sure but how he goes about in relation to how most of the country feels would be interesting...
- :Secure the border first Begin the real fight to stop lobbyist influence on candidates No more earmarks slipped into bill that have nothing to do with the bill itself. Reduce taxes and SPENDING (the only reason he didn't support 2 of the Bush cuts was because they did not include spending reduction. His opponents spin this and say that he doesn't support lowering taxes.) Take a portion of the billions saved to help insure a broader base of lower income Americans Reunify America with the relationships he's forged in both parties becoming "The Great Unifier" as Reagan is fondly remembered as "The Great Communicator". increased intelligence gathering in the Afghan/Pakistani border region doubling the effort to get Bin Laden and others. He may not hesitate dropping 20 20,000ilb bombs in this lawless terrorist supporting hot bed. Real change
- He will be the first president to have less personality than a doorknob. Did you see that "victory" speech the other night? I think his college public speaking profs forgot to tell him that you're not supposed to "read" from your notecards!
