Senator John McCain says there is Global Warming and we must take action soon?

Going against his party John McCain said today he believes in Global Warming.What do you think of that?

8. Considering that many evangelicals have been slowly reconsidering their views on the environment, this isn't that big a surprise. McCain isn't stupid, he wouldn't say something like that if he thought it would kill his chances of winning the White House. Eventually, only stubborn, foolish people will still believe that changes in our nation's environmental policy aren't warranted.
9. cons wont vote for him then. bush said he thought it was one of the most important things facing this country, then he sold us out to his environmental terrorist buddies.
10. He's just speaking the truth. I mean, the planet has gotten warmer over the past century. No arguing that. It's measured. Fact. Truth. No disputing it or "belief"-"disbelief." Greenhouse gases trap heat in our atmosphere. Humans have progressively put more concentrations of these gases into our atmosphere. You can blame solar cycles and earth wobbles for effecting the temperature, which they do and have done to our planet for ages before humans even came along- but you can NOT deny the fact that we have at LEAST in SOME little way been accelerating the process by producing tons and tons and tons and tons of these gases over the past century. It's not about politics, believing or not believing; it's about science. Anyone who says Global Warming isn't happening is out of the loop and denying reality. The REAL argument is about how much of it is OUR fault.

13. When will the rich politicians lead by example.... WHen they get solar panels and drive hybreds and ride buses and plant a forest on their cleared estate properties and get rid of this carbon credit plan which sounds more like a shady enron brokered deal,,,, then even those of us who drive fourteen year old gas guzzlers may have a chance to afford to be green.... no one buys green so it's too expensive for us to afford.
14. we are not causing global warming, we are only speeding it up some believe that global warming will cause another ice age; if that is true i have one question, what caused the first one. could it be that over millions of years carbon dioxide built up to the point that green house gasses became a problem and nature in it's perfection self righted its self. we have sped it up by several million years but, we survived the first one and we will surly survive this one
