Would Senator John McCain make an ideal good president? Why or why not?

America wants to be reminded of honest and fearless leaders such as George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. We are searching for another JFK or Ronald Reagan, regardless of party. We want to make the country stronger and prosperous for future generations. Senator McCain has more experience than other candidates. He also takes unpopular positions, while others are more concerned about improving their public image. That's a sign of a sincere character.

  1. I agree . . . but he doesn't seem to have the self restraint or polish to be the president.
  2. I don't like his style. He has too much baggage, has contributed to the stupid rules in campaign finance and wants to win a war we can not win, and on top of that his wife would suck as a first lady, as she and McCain are simply jealous of George and Laura. Of course you knew this.
  3. I think McCain is a powerful person and capable of being a strong president. If he is chosen as the GOP candidate, I would support him. I just don't trust him. Hence, he is not my first choice.
