Is John McCain running for president?

Public Comments

  1. God, I hope so.
  2. It's possible Last time I would have voted for him but now I don't like his stance on Immigration or his vote on health care.
  3. I won't vote for him.
  4. Some body needs to
  5. I hope to hell he doesn't
  6. Well sadly (in my opinion) he is running in the 2008 election. I sure as hell won't vote for him though
  7. He will, why do you THINK he's been KISSING ASS to the ILLEGALS??!!! For sombody that's SUPPOSED to be a "war hero", WHY is he BETRAYING our country??!!! I live in Arizona, and i will NEVER vote for him!!!! Neither will ANYBODY that i know!!
  8. I hope not. After I saw him with that b@stard biracial child he had out of wedlock...I dout he has any moral fabric left.
  9. You bet. He wasn't too happy with his last bid for the Republican nomination, and he's kept his face in the public eye ever since. He has been gearing up for this for six years. Notice how he repaired the rift with Jerry Falwell's evangelicals, yet he has remained neutral in the gay marriage issue. He played both sides during the Bush/Kerry match. He has rock star status as far as name recognition goes, and he looks like he's only getting started. What scares me, however, is that he is not a true conservative. He is a moderate that flip-flops from time to time depending on the direction the wind is blowing. Furthermore, he is known and loved among the younger generation because of his successful PR campaign in younger demographic circles. He has a good chance of being nominated and becoming a more pathetic excuse for the conservative choice than Bush.
  10. He might. And I might vote for him. But I'm most likely to vote for Joe Biden. A Biden-McCain would be a dream ticket. John McCain would be the oldest person elected for Pres if he did run, I believe.
  11. If McCain runs in '08 I will vote for him hands down. No one that runs in that election will even be half as good as John McCain. And who better to suck the wind out of Clinton and the Democrats sails than him? The only plausible reason why I can see that you may not vote for him is for his recent pushing of religion. I don't agree with him on that but if he sticks to his priority issues he's untouchable. McCain 2008!
  12. I hope not
  13. I hope so. I believe the ideal Republican ticket would be Colin Powell for President with John McCain for Vice-President. The ideal Democratic ticket would be Colin Powell for President and John McCain for Vice-President. The BEST ticket of all would be an independent ticket with Colin Powell for President and John McCain for Vice-President.
  14. Is the Pope Catholic? Of course he's running despite what he says. I'm a Democrat, but he's the only Republican I'd ever consider voting for. Despite making up with Jerry Falwell, he's still one of the last great American heroes who stands behind what he believes. But, he does have that one problem.....he's a Republican.....
