What do you think of John McCain as president?

Public Comments

  1. Too liberal
  2. The dude's brain has come off the tracks. He seems to think becoming W's twin will somehow get him in the White House. I used to think McCain had a spine...not anymore. Let's hope and pray that this idiot stays far away from the White House.
  3. I think he and Carl Rove have a great future as comedians on Fox. Rove and McCain. John sings pro-war songs and Carl raps and dances. Sounds great.
  4. I'm glad we know he is a weak woos now. Imagine if Bush hadn't slammed him back in 2000 with that anti Jesus lie He might have ended up president. Democrats like a good war hero and McCain would have gotten more crossover votes than Bush. He would have easily won the election. No Gore v Bush. No 911. No war in Iraq. What an economic disaster that would have been. Bush is a money maker for Friends & Family Go Team Bush Go
  5. He might bomb, bomb, bom, bomb, bomb Iran. He's just another Republican war monger.
  6. I wore his POW bracelet for many years until he came home. I have always thought of him as an example of a military man. However; in the last several years I have been very unhappy with his stands on quite a few things that I thought were pretty important as a social conservative. The financial bill with his name on it is a miserable piece of legislation – the right idea – the wrong method. And more recently the “Gang of 17” or whatever they are called who tended towards the middle was another disappointment. I am a “Values” voter and will not abdicate my vote for any party so I would have to say he has left my “Values”. As a president he probably would be middle of the road which is pretty much where he stands now on almost everything. He definitely would not be the worst but for my single vote he would not be the pick of the litter. By the way today in history the “Red Baron” was shot down in France in 1918.
