John McCain for President?

If he runs, do you think that he could handle his appointment as President and help pull our country back together? With the division we have now,who would have the intelligence, foresight, and ability to take on the problems America has at present? If you have another name that fits the bill, please tell us why they would be better for the job.

  1. no way. hes too conservative, and a proud racist. of course the conservatism and racism go hand in hand.
  2. I think McCain is ok... I just wonder if the Repubs will run him with all the friction in the party... I lean toward Edwards or warner though...
  3. Absolutely not. He won't even make it through the primaries. He is a RINO. It is too early to pick anyone other than mcCain or Rudy. I don't want either one.
  4. If he wins, war in Iraq is going to be still there..
  5. I don't like McCain. He support Illegals. He's too far left for my blood. I don't understand why he even calls himself a republican? I guess if Democrats ever start winning he will change sides.
  6. Not anymore. He is to soft on terrorists. Rudy Giuliani or Mitt Romney.
  7. No..John McCain is not the man.... Steve Forbes would have been great but he will not run.. Maybe Condi Rice would be good.... I would rather have Joe Lieberman than John McCain and I am a Republican...
  8. I'd vote for McCain any day. He isn't afraid of anyone or anything.'
  9. Pirate Man McCain a President? HA HA HA!!! The man is just a Bush clone... Has no balls and does exactly what is told of him by Rove... Yah...we really want to look at that ugly pirate face for 4 years... After 8 years of Bush's ugly buttface, give us a break...will ya!
  10. I like McCain, but he is a bit too conservative. At least he is not conservowacko.
  11. Leogirl, don't you know that Bush also supports illegals?? Well, John McCain is a good man, but i'm not sure how well he could fit the job as president. Couldn't be worse than Bush though.
  12. The man has no integrity. Here he's gone and supported Bush's torture program. I will never forgive him for caving (not the first time, but this one REALLY pisses me off.) That makes him a definite NO to me. (But then, I'm not a Republican.)
  13. Sadly,I can't think of anyone that I would even be remotely interested in at this time.Hopefully when the time of election comes,we actually have someone that is worthy of our support.
