Has John McCain ever read the US Constitution?
Article 1 section 8, of the US Constitution says that the legislature has the power to: " Make rules for the government and regulation of the land and naval forces." Yet, McCain said that the recent Webb/Hagel bill to give our troops a year in the US for every year that they spent in Iraq was: " unConstitutional." So has John McCain ever read the US Constitution; or is he using the constitution of the North American Union; or has he just become a lying SOB? http://www.usconstitution.net/const.html The United States Constitution - The U.S. Constitution Online - USConstitution.net http://today.reuters.com/news/articlenews.aspx?type=topNews&storyID=2007-09-20T063356Z_01_N14234192_RTRUKOC_0_US-IRAQ-USA1.xml&pageNumber=1&imageid=&cap=&sz=13&WTModLoc=NewsArt-C1-ArticlePage1 Senate Republicans block Iraq bill | Top News | Reuters.com old codger, Has your brain rotted away on you; or are you simply stupid? - McCain did not only read the constitution but He understood it. The President is the military leader of this country as planned by the founding fathers. The liberals have been unable to manage their households let alone the country. McCain defended this country and endured more suffering than most Americans can even imagine. Perhaps liberals will get a clue after they get trounced in 08.
- None of them read the Constitution. And they really hope we J.Q. Public types don't. That is why so much crap gets passed because a large percentage of Americans have not even ever read the constitution in their adult life. It shivers me timbers when the government keeps whiddling away at our Constitutional rights to fit their special interest groups.
- The Republican administration is in a desperate power grab and their weapon of choice it to chip away at the Constituion. They fear their power and influence may be slipping from them .... after all they read the polls too ... plus, they wish to completely dodge all accountibility for the mess they have caused. If they could alter (or ignore) key areas of the Constitution, they feel they might be able to pull these things off. In addition, altering or ignoring the Constituion might be vital in their attempts to hijack all branches of government for their own self-serving causes. They obviously own the executive branch ... they came dangerously close to owning the judical branch with Alberto Gonzales ... The Democrats narrowly hold the legislative branch, and can accomplish little because their majority is so thin. .
- Was he really locked up for 5 years or did he have a wife and family in V.N.?
