John McCain has put a bid in for an exploratory committee for the candidacy of president. Good choice?
It looks as though John McCain may get the nomination from republicans, and John Edwards may get the democratic nomination. Does this look like a 50 50 election again? Do you like the choices? Who would you vote for?

- He can explore all he wants. My money's on Obama in 08!
- After McCain's Finance "Reform" Bill, which was unconstitutional, but the President signed anyway, and his alliance with Ted Kennedy on the education bill, McCain can fly himself a kite. The man will flush his conservatism down the toilet if the cameras are on.
- Tough choice. Running mates count for a lot as well
- McCain has very short arms so he cannot do the required reach-around. he is out. otherwise it is too soon to tell. wait a bit. see who emerges from the woodwork.
- John McCain is a loose cannon. I never know where he is going to land on an issue. I like Juliana. His sex life should not matter. The people elected Clinton.
- I was in favor of Mc until he decided to bow down to Fawell. Edwards made his money as a class action lawyer so he's off my list. Can you give us a better option.
- There is no question about it John McCain against John Edwards I will have to vote for John McCain.
- I think a large portion of the Republican base does not like McCain - they see him as too liberal on many issues.
- McCain is the only Republuican with a chance of winning - because he is moderate enough to pull the Independent and some of the moderate Democrat votes
- John McCain is one of the few Republicans I can actually stomach and I also like John Edwards pretty well. I don't think that Edwards is the best choice, though, so I hope that a better contender can get the Democratic candidacy. However, if Edwards is the candidate, I'll vote for him, since I support the Democratic Party platform.
- Its a good choice for him to find out early the country will NOT support him for President. He's too much of a political chameleon....talks out of both sides of his mouth.
- Its way to early to tell either way. John McCain is a good choice but I dint think he is going to get the nomination. Everyone is going to remember his stand on Iraq and since that's the only way to will elections these days he doesn't have a chance. John Edwards is pretty boy with no idea and no real substance. He actually made Kerry look competent during the last election. There are much stronger Democrat candidates that should be chose if the actually want to win.
- No way McCain gets the repub nod. I'm not endorsing him, but I've been hearing Mitt Romney's name thrown about. Hillary is your woman. No other dem will challenge her
- Not only good but the only choice. With Rudy as vice there moderate views best represents we the people. Congress would be compelled to work in a constructive manner with them as they share many of the same views. Or Congress would face yet another "swing" to the republicans in 2010. It would be obvious partisan politics in an effort to regain the white house by the democrats and we the people would hold them accountable.
- Too early to tell but I am going with Rudy and not McCain!!!!
- No, it's not a good choice. We've had enough adulterers in the White House.
- Neither at this point. Next!
- Sure hate to see him waste all that money...the presidency ,as you should know by now, will be acquired by the one with the fatter pocket book,unfortunately....Hummmm....I .wonder who that could be.....
- It's too far away with too many potential people who may sign up. I'm gonna wait for some more hopefuls. I don't like McCain for sure and I'm not that thrilled with Edwards. There has to be better choices I hope than that.
- Yes. Much better choice than any other Republican
