Does Barack Obama have a fresh perspective?
I saw a poster describe him that way on another question and thought....huh? On WHAT ISSUES does Barack bring a fresh perspective? As far as I can tell, he's just an aspiring career politician who says one thing (no money from special interests!) and does another (taking in MILLIONS from them). What kind of a fresh perspective is that? Rollo - thanks for detail! You really did a great job spelling out the specifics. My question stands unanswered by all you brainwashed Obama slugs.
Public Comments
- My favorite "fresh perspective" was several years ago when he made a speech at the Democratic National Convention saying that we are not just red states, we are not just blue states, we are the UNITED States of America. It's been awhile since I've heard that, and I very much appreciate it.
- First for politics isn't it.lol
- First of all, Obama has more grass roots support than anybody, and less special interest money than anyone. And Obama brings a fresh perspective to just about every issue there is, because he has the ability to listen to everyone, and because he is not tied to a particular agenda.
- As far as I can tell it's the sameo stale cliches and the beat goes on. It's probably due to the novelty of having a black man as a viable candidate that you hear this "fresh perspective" nonsense. Far as I'm concerned it's "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss."
- Barack would bring a "fresh perspective" to our country. He is down to earth and show a willingneess to listen. A lot of people are giving him a lot of heat b/c of his comments during the debate last night saying he would meet with certain countries. I say good. We should meet with some of these leaders rather than keeping our snobby, tight assed ways and listen to what some of the leaders have to say. The U.S. has too many enemies and the list is growing and we need to try and cut the list down.
- He absolutely has a new perspective. He's intelligent and articulate for a start, that puts him ahead of all the Republicans. How about talking with other heads of state without any preconditions?? This is a great idea, and flies in the face of standard diplomacy. How about that he is the only candidate with a black perspective? You don't think THAT MATTERS? How fresh can you get with a chance of winning?
- Barack Obama is obviously not as bright as his supporters think he is. I have yet to hear him say the word "win" when talking about the war on terror. In 1999, he was the only state senator to oppose a bill that prohibited early prison release for criminal sexual offenders. Maybe he likes little boys. Thats SB485 in 1999 for all you Obama drones.
