Maybe when Barack goes to Israel for a speech it will be revealed he is Jewish , wait his people might use that , O well .

6. LMAO. Nice point. No, I'm not surprised that he has all of those groups in his lineage. With America being a melting pot it's inevitable that someday we'll have a President with a multicultural backround. However, I DO think his team is trying to use it to his benefit, and why not? The Democrats have billed themselves as the "Party of Inclusion" for years, so why not have a candidate that reflects that. I will still be very surprised if he gets the nomination and shocked if he wins the Presidency.

10. I don't think they're making it up, that's too much trouble and its kind of random. And most African Americans do have European blood from slavery. They said great great great grandfather, so that is absolutely possible.

13. Who cares about his lineage???? -lineage has nothing to do with a persons mental acuity, character, or intent. .....just another log for the fire since it seems to be so fascinating for many... Most "slaves" cant ever trace their ancestors as they were renamed,or chose new names, never recoded births and often got names of people that were considered wealthy, famous, "goodhearted" etc.. the problem becomes even more muddled as slaves that went thru Europe were routinely separated from their original group,some remained and much later disappeared when their European masters went traveling --but mostly they were shipped to to colonial territories/islands, where they worked or became pirates..
14. Are you suggesting that Obama is making up that he is black? Of course he is not making it up. His father and stepfather were Muslim - he has made no secret of that. He is a church going Christian - that is fact. He seems to know more about Christianity that Dubya was able to reveal any time he was asked. As for the Irish ancestor - it is a pretty difficult challenge to find anyone that doesn't have some Irish ancestry in them. Is this really the best you can do. I'm a Liberal and I am still able to find plenty to debate with our candidates. You guys claim to be opposed to them but can do nothing better than pretend there is something sinister where absolutely nothing is hidden. 2008 is just going to be sooooo easy!
