I emailed our campaign finance officer today to see if he thought all fifty dollars should go to the grass roots Ron Paul BLIMP boys, or if it be better to split the funds between the BLIMP boys & our RP general fund. The contribution chart shows a hundred fifty grand to go. If a thousand of us send in just fifty skins thats 50K closer to getting that puppy airborne! If three thousand Ron Paul supporters send in just fifty skins a piece that puppy's airborne as soon as the art work is completed on it! The sooner that BLIMP is on the move, the more eyes see it! Auntb93, we lose Ron Paul in 08 look for serious problems with in the employment field with in 08-09, followed by an increasing collapse of small business' from 2010. This will be brought on by an increasingly growing government on ALL levels plus mass retirements on all government levels & hence forth more taxes to fund the government. Once the dollar hits the unsustainable point of diminishing returns, meaning it can't purchase enough for basic needs/survival of folks, it's then TOO LATE. Expect from that point for all hell to break lose as it's every man for himself! So much ELECTRICITY in your guys replies! Amazing what a quality constitutionally based representative like Ron Paul can do for the constituents hopes for the pursuit of happiness regarding their futures!!! Does Ron Paul Fill His Own Blimp? Why don't interviewers actually make Ron Paul sit down and explain in detail his "ideas", and how they would work? Why is he off the hook after 10 second sound bites? My opinion is that if he talked TOO long, he'd sound as foolish as Ross Perot did, when HE tried to explain the libertarian creed to the world. I don't think you CAN explain libertarianism, even to a libertarian. What do you think about "grilling" candidates on TV who make facile, sweeping comments, until they can actually explain what they mean, even if it takes 1/2 hour of air time? This could apply to ANY candidate. Shouldn't debates be longer and way more detailed?
Why is Ron Paul raising more money then all of the other GOP candidates if their base hates him? He’s on track to vault over his $12 million goal, and that could seriously outpace all of his GOP rivals, including the deep-pocketed Romney. Add to this the fact that the Ron Paul Blimp idea apparently reached its $350K goal and the craft is set to launch on Dec. 10th for a month long tour of the nation. Which, is fine. It is something to be proud of. And all I ever saw of the man's campaign was hand made signs by his supporters, I heard one radio commercial, and saw a blimp. He participated in the debates, but other than that what did he do to try to win the Presidency? Other than rely on his supporters and the internet? Now, he's not even running anymore. He's trying to save his House Seat, and he's "renting" out his donor's list. He's basically sold your info like a solicitor? Now everyone Paul "supports" will be asking for a handout. Look, I respect the tenacity and effort many of Ron's supporters had, and some still do. But, if I were in your shoes. I'd be ticked! Martin, I didn't rant on any supporters. I actually gave Ron's supporters a great deal of praise and showed a great deal of respect towards them. I simply asked if they were made because of the situation of events unfolding. Perhaps you should hold back on the knee jerk insults whenever someone questions you about your candidate, especially when they aren't being mean. Is my post supportive of Paul? No? But it's far from negative also.
Why does everyone like Ron Paul? What is it with this guy? why do so many young people like him? I myself do not like him just because he wants to pull the troops out ASAP. Will Ralph Nader be the next Ron Paul? It looks like we are set to have a new candidate with no chance of winning the Presidency, but wants to give it a go anyway. Will there be another parade of brainwashed lemmings following this guy, spamming e-mail accounts, internet polls, and message boards like this one, and engaging in bigoted and self-righteous attacks against the free-willed individuals who refuse to fall into the cult mentality? Will we start to see blimps, coins, and youTube videos exalting his name? I am curious if this is going to happen again or if Paul was just a fluke that (thankfully) has passed us by. EasyRead, please pay attention. Paul isn't a new candidate either under your definition, he ran for president in the 80s. By "new" I mean he just announced his candidacy for the presidency TODAY. I am aware of the prior two times he tried and failed and I am sure everyone else here is too.
