Move the CA primary for the 2012 presidential election to 12:00 AM on the morning after election day, 2008? Of couse my question is idiotic. Florida just announced that it wants to move its primary to January 29th, ahead of the primaries on February 5th. We have this "my state is bigger than, more important than, more influencial than your state!" thing going on. Why not just mandate that ALL states must hold all primaries on the same day? That would eliminate the stupid interstate pissing contest. Then mini-populated Wyoming will have their primary on the same day as California, which has a population and economy bigger than many countries, and is way the hell more powerful than Florida.

How would your react if on Election Day? On November 4, 2008, the news just announces that Jeb Bush has been elected as the 44th President of the United States of America to replace his brother George W. Bush from 2009 to 2013. My reaction would be GREAT. I would like to see Jeb Bush be the President of the United States of America and I think that America could use another four years of President Bush.
Who will you support in the 2008 election? I'm not affiliated with a political party. I'm a moderate conservative who demands reform of Congress and the executive branch. Why did the Justice Dept. drop charges for the Black Panthers accused of voter intimidation on election day? On election day 2008, 3 members of the Black Panther Klan were intimidating voters and campaign workers. Now that Obama has taken power, those charges against the Black Panthers have been dropped. Is it okay now that obama is president for people to use force and intimidation to coerce people into voting for a certain candidate? 11 weeks late. Last mesntl Oct12th 2008. I went 2 the doc election day to test but it came back neg. what now? 22 yrs old! I am scared and I really dont like doc. only because when i went to the community health center for the 1st time(Nov.2,2008) and asked for test before she sent me to the lab. she told me to wait in the room until she came back as soon as she step out in the hall i hear her talkin to one of her doc. friends telling her "she(which is Me) tryin to get pregnant for what the only reason her period wont come on is because she is ova weight" i thought to myself now the doc was bigger than me(i am 213 lbs) i have been bigger than this(245lbs) but the bigger i got i would some times bleed twice a month, but for 2 years i maintain weight and have had 7 day periods every 28 days.i have an appt. coming for obgyn at a differnt place 7th of Jan2009. Help! i wanna know what do u think? Taxes & Day Trading & Mark to Market Election? I understand that filing as a "day trader" (subject to IRS day trading rules), one can file a mark to market election (various forms, etc.). Question: If I have another full time job, and I lost $50,000 day trading, (over 400 trades in 2008 so far) if I file as a day trader, how will the IRS view this if I have another full time job? Has anyone else filed this way successfully (without being audited, penalties, IRS reversal, etc)? If no, then can I file as a "part-time day-trader" with the M2M election and take say 50% of the $50,000 losses against regular income? (normal is $3000 limit on Sched D).

Huge Win for Democrats: win Presidency, Gain 5 senate seats and 25 House seats? Could this easily be the headline the day after the 2008 elections. My vote is yes. Bush can keep doing his thing and the republicans can keep supporting him. But dont forget that everything they have said to us has turned out to be wrong or a lie. Past performance is an indicator of future behavior as far as I am concerned. They have had it wrong, are wrong and will continue to be wrong....they are fighting a battle of attrition at this point to save themselves...and they are losing badly. Come election day, Iraq will still be a mess, we will have over over 4000 dead american soldiers and nearly 30,000 maimed. We should be just about close to the 1 trillion dollar mark for the war with no end in sight...yes the same war that was brought to you by the republican Bush and kept going by him and his republican cronies for some mysterious reason. The same war that the american people were so ticked off at last election that they overwhelmingly voted against the republicans. I am sure some will come on here and make jokes, and crack silly smart aleck answers, and even hurl insults, but one thing cons....it wont change a thing. Keep it up....in fact I want you to stay the course, it will make the day after election even that much sweeter. The more you stay your evil course, the more power the american people will get back next election.

Bush is at 32% approval, 68% of americans want troop withdrawals starting now....? Congress authorized use of force in Iraq by a majority up or down vote. Congress up or down vote to unauthorize use of force in Iraq will get vetoed. 2 observations 1) It seems our systems makes it easy to get our soldiers into a war, but extremely difficult to get them out. It seems that cutting funding is not really an option since those who want war paint that as leaving soldiers on battle field without bullets. 2) How can there be so much support for getting us out of Iraq from american people, but yet it seems some legislators seem so willing to risk the wrath of the people on election day in 2008? After all, the war was a big issue angering voters last election, and all indications are the people are even more against the war now...implying more anger next election.
