How much is a baseball signed by Vice President Joe Biden worth? I have a baseball signed by vice president Joe biden at a democratic rally last october at alico arena at florida gulf coast university in fort myers florida. I know its probably not worth much but I just wanted to see if it has any value at all... I know stuff signed by important people are usually kinda worth a decent amount.
Was Joe Biden really the 44th president of the United States? It is great seeing Obama as our next president but... Since Obama wasn't sworn in until 12:07 p.m. wouldn't that make Joe Biden the 44th President while Obama was the 45th president. He was the one already sworn in when the clock struck noon. This is just a joking around question... so please don't actually take any of this seriously!! However you can share your thought...
Why did Democrat Vice President Joe Biden say Louisiana is losing 400 jobs a day? Do you think the VP of the USA should have his facts straight before he speaks? Reality check for Vice President Joe Biden Posted: Feb 25, 2009 07:19 PM EST SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Giving the republican response to President Obama's speech Tuesday night, Governor Bobby Jindal pointed out fundamental differences in how republicans and democrats see the economy. "But what I don't understand from Governor Jindal is what would he do?," asks Joe Biden while on the Early Show. And That rhetorical question to Governor Jindal on the Early Show, was followed with this. "in Louisiana there's 400 people a day losing their jobs, what's he doing?" asks Biden. But that claim is wrong, if you look at the numbers from the Louisiana Workforce Commission. "In December, Louisiana was the only state in the nation besides the District of Columbia, according to the national press release that added employment over the month," says Patty Granier with the Louisiana Workforce Commission. According to her, not only is Louisiana not losing jobs. "The state gained 3,700 jobs for the seasonally adjusted employment," Granier said of the most recent figures. You don't even have to take my word for it, these are number you can check out yourself if you just go to laworks.net, there you can find the latest unemployment statistics, statistics that appear to directly contradict what the vice president said this morning. http://www.ksla.com/Global/story.asp?S=9906943 by Hitler Was A Communist : OMG, Joe was interviewed yesterday and was asked if he could say his new website address -- he couldn't! LOL Now Joe is making up figures.
When will Joe Biden become the 45th president of the United States? I am sorry but with the increasing numbers of white extremists groups out there I can't see Barack Obama living through his full term. When does Biden become president? I don't expect any to happen before Noon so Obama should make it as the 44th president. How much long he is still around after that is uncertain.
Why did Joe Biden disclose the secret location for the Vice President? Vice President Joe Biden, well-known for his verbal gaffes, may have finally outdone himself, divulging potentially classified information meant to save the life of a sitting vice president. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/05/17/oops-biden-reveals-location-secret-vp-bunker/?test=latestnews According to a report, while recently attending the Gridiron Club dinner in Washington, an annual event where powerful politicians and media elite get a chance to cozy up to one another, Biden told his dinnermates about the existence of a secret bunker under the old U.S. Naval Observatory, which is now the home of the vice president. The bunker is believed to be the secure, undisclosed location former Vice President Dick Cheney remained under protection in secret after the 9/11 attacks. http://news.aol.com/main/politics/article/biden-cheney-secret-bunker/486555 Did big Joe put his life at risk now? Where will Joe hide in the event of an emergency?
What do you think of Joe Biden as Vice President? Babbling Joe has taken it upon himself to identify where Dick Cheney and his staff went immediately following the 9/11 attacks. Do you think he should have done this? Are you concerned that he is next in line to take over as President if Obama is unable to continue as President? On AOL, Cheney got a higher approval rating than Biden. Seems we had better hope nothing happens to Obama. And imagine if Pelosi becomes the President. As Speaker of the House, she follows Biden. Does this scare you, or concern you? http://news.aol.com/main/politics/article/biden-cheney-secret-bunker/486555?icid=main|htmlws-main|dl1|link2|http%3A%2F%2Fnews.aol.com%2Fmain%2Fpolitics%2Farticle%2Fbiden-cheney-secret-bunker%2F486555 C "LIPS" B™ What is it about Biden that makes him a "cool guy?" Don't his flubs bother you? TO Lying Republican Moron You, sir, are an interesting specimen of a Democratic misguided child in adult clothing.
why did vice president joe biden put his hand into his shirt pocket? WHY DID PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN PUT HIS HAND INTO HIS SHIRT POCKET? MANY PEOPLE THINK THAT HE WAS PULLING HIS GUN OUT FROM HIS COAT LIKE SHARIFF OF NORTHINGHAM FOREST? WHAT IS THE MOTIVE. HISTORIAN WILL PLAY THIS DOCUMENTARY A MILLION TIME TO FIND OUT THE MEANING. SO HIS WIFE JILL ASK JOE TO GO FOR VICE PRESIDENT JOB RATHER THEN SECRETARY OF STATE OF JOB? IS SHE THE POWER BEHIND THE THRONE. IS SHE THE MASTERMIND? MAYBE, ONLY SECRETARY OF STATE HILLARY CLINTON COULD TAME JILL FROM FUTHER POLITICAL AMBITION. JILL COULD RUN FOR PRESIDENT IN 2012 AGAINST SECRETARY OF STATE HILLARY CLINTON. GOD BLESS AMERICA. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PuHGKnboNY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZlgNj-rIxw&feature=PlayList&p=7B6CCE36212C5BC4&playnext=1&index=1
My Question is for Vice-President Joe Biden? Dear Vice-President Joe Biden, Why is there no real help for families that are on the verge of losing their homes because the loans that they were provided with was not for the actual value of the home? In my opinion the home value should be based on cost of materials, labor and a reasonable profit for the contracting company that is building the track of homes or apartments. Housing should never have been used for investment brokerage firms to get investors to provide mortgage monies. Another question I would like to ask, is that Total Health Care should be free and a right for all U.S born citizens and naturalized citizens, but at a moderate cost for people here legally on a visa or passport visiting on vacation. But for the illegal immigrant, if care is provided they get sent back to where they came from, no exceptions. The way I see how this can be paid for is through a tax on big tobacco, strong spirits, via bars, a tax on medical marijuana, casino profits, and penalties on companies that outsource jobs instead of keeping the jobs in the USA, and penalties on companies that do not provide total health care insurance for their employees. Total Health Care is medical, dental, vision and mental, TMJ and podiatry included.
Am I the only person that thinks Joe Biden is REALLY HOT? So I find Vice President Joe Biden extremely attractive. I met him once in 2008 and he has to be the hottest man on this earth. He has the perfect teeth, and his eyes are to die for and I heard he has the best smelling breath ever!
If it ever became necessary, who would you rather have as President: Joe Biden or Sarah Palin? "All we have heard from John McCain for months is, “Barack Obama is too young. Barack Obama is too inexperienced to be commander-in-chief. Who do you want answering the phone in the White House at three a.m.? Blah, blah, blah.” So what does McCain do? He picks someone to be his running mate who is even younger than Barack Obama and has less experience. Sara Palin is 44 – Obama is 47. Sara Palin is in her first term as governor of Alaska, a state that has 13 people and some caribou. Obama is a member of the United States Senate from Illinois. It’s not a big deal, except for this: If McCain wins, he will be the oldest person ever inaugurated for a first term at 72. He has a history of health problems that include bouts of melanoma, a potentially deadly form of skin cancer. It is reasonable to consider that McCain’s running mate could be called upon to be our president. Meanwhile, some may see this as a move for McCain to attract disaffected women who voted for Hillary Clinton and aren’t yet behind Obama. But that might not work for a few reasons: Palin, like McCain, is pro-life. Also, she might be a woman, but she’s no Hillary Clinton – when it comes to her experience or her ideology. At some point, voters will have to ask themselves who they would want running the country if it ever became necessary: Joe Biden or Sarah Palin. Does John McCain undercut his own message by naming someone even younger and more inexperienced than Barack Obama to be his running mate?"
Joe Biden? Do you think Joe Biden would be a good president? I think he is one of the most bi-partisan candidates. If possible, I'd like to hear intelligent answers pro or con. Not stuff like the first idiot answer.
Where is Vice President Joe Biden? I haven't heard Joe "Biden My Time" Biden in months. I guess Obama finally gagged him and threw him in the closet of the Lincoln bedroom.
Is everyone in agreement JOE BIDEN SHOULD BE PRESIDENT!? I have read all aboutthe republican and democrat candidates. I have confirmed that the best way to get our national debt under control is by a democrat president with a democrat congress. (History proves this) so is seems joe Biden is the BEST candidate. The best experience, the best views. the BEST democrat. agree?
Joe Biden would have made a good president? I don't get why he dropped out of the race so soon, I mean he would have been a great candidate. He had a logical plan for Iraq, he has like 30 years of foreign policy experience, why?
Who else here thinks Joe Biden would be a good president? I do. I think he has a good strong plan for what to do in Iraq and to protect our country. He is very experienced and he sounds confident and strong in what he wants. I think he would be a great president. Do you think he could be a good president and why are people doubting him?
Vice President Joe Biden? Why, when you are trying so hard to create jobs, has no one called to change the H1B legislation to make this visa NOT AVAILABLE in any area that exceeds 30 people per sq mile? In most metro areas we are flooded with foreign labor who are here on Visas they have no right to. How can our kids pay off their school loans if the USA keeps giving jobs IN THE USA to foreign born workers who are FLOWN here just for that job? There are 50 companies in the NY metro area that specialize in fulfilling these visas, while native born Americans or green card holders sit here out of work.
How many think Obama will pick Hillary as a Vice President ? I wouldn't mind if he do but I don't think she's the best qualified among the Democrat field. What do you think about these cool choice for Vice President -- Joe Biden (D) John Edward (D) Colin Powell (R) If you think about the foriegn affairs, Biden and Colin would be a tremendous asset to Obama with Powell giving the Democrats a solid victory for our party to lock up the White House for the next 8 years. What do you guys think ?
Do you think Joe Biden would be a good choice for America as President? Lets face it guys, there are people out there, with guns, who dont like a Bi racial in office, ( YES I SAID BI RACIAL NOT BLACK! ) There have already been people who were planning to kill Obama. lets say in the next four years one of them succeeds, there is a mighty big chance of that happening. do you think Joe Biden, with the plaster smile on his face will be a good President?
President Biden who knows? Was Joe Biden president for a few minutes because Obama was sworn in a few minutes after noon and Bushs term was up, just a thought i had.
Joe Biden Is he qualified to be President ? One of the youngest ever to be elected to the U.S. Senate. Elected to U.S. Senate 1972 Six terms elected to U.S. Senate. (D) State of Delaware. Adjunct Professor 1991-Present Widener School of Law
Did anyone else notice that Joe Biden was technically president for 6 minutes? Leave it to Barry to be late for his inauguration. Alex, you are almost right. Bush's term officially ended at 12:00, but by that time Barry had not been sworn in. So technically, there was no president for about 6 full minutes. And just so you know, this was brought up by a commentator of some radio station I was listening to. It was noticed by at least one reporter who was commentating on the procedures. Evalyn, common sense would have dictated that, but there would have been some who would have said that Barry could not do anything until after he had officially taken the oath of office. So technically there was no president since Biden had only taken the oath of office for the Vice President. I just thought it was rather interesting and will probably set the tone and precedence for his entire term. Alan, just so you remember, for the past 8 years, you have remained alive and free in the greatest country ever. I think someone had to preserve that freedom and your life. Alan, I am sorry to say but you are so blinded by your hatred that you cannot see the facts. Cliton screwed up all our intelligence gathering organizations that it was completely impossible for anyone to believe what was being provided. And for the record, that was not the one and only terrorist attack on this soil. Go back to 1993 and check out the original bombing of the WTC buildings. And who was president during that time? Get a clue and stop listening to the media. They blatantly lie to make gullable people like you sound intelligent when spewing their lies. Mickster, you are correct and maybe I need to be more clear about what I mean. While the president-elect's term begins at 12:00 on the 20th day of January, the president-elect cannot carryout the duties of the office until after he officially takes the oath of office. Rather strange, but also very interesting. http://www.usconstitution.net/consttop_term.html Thanks for helping make that clear!
Barack Obama for President and Joe Biden for Vice President? Good ticket? Yes/No? I like Obama, compared to McCain, but if Obama picks either Edwards or Clinton for his running mate, I'll seriously have to rethink voting for him seeing how I really don't like either Edwards and Clinton. I like Senator Joe Biden as a vice president. He's intelligent, has thoughts similar to Obama, and surely has Washington/Capital Hill influence and experience. I think he offsets Obama's weaknesses. So is Joe Biden a good choice for veep???
Joe Biden stated in the campaign "Barack Obama is not qualified to be president" Was Joe being prophetic? Sure looks like Joe was right. How many mis-steps we gonna see with this guy. Maybe next time people vote to chose a person to run the country they will actually chose someone who had experience in running something-anything. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpjAs4vtc1w In reading some of these answers I get scared about the level of intelligence out there. Please read the question and use the source before responding like "that doesn't make sense he is in his administration. I said "IN THE CAMPAIGN"
Is Joe Biden really running for President, or running for a cabinet position for Clinton? I have been reading this a lot. He's either running fro VP or Secretary of State. I feel jipped. I donated to his campaign, and now I feel that he's just running to "assist" Hillary Clinton. I thought my vote and voice countee in this country? I guess "they" already choose who's President long, long before the elections even happen. Aside from my rant, is this true? that's "doesn't count" - sorry for the typo.
Why is Joe Biden so stupid as to say this? Democrat Joe Biden charged Tuesday that President Bush's policies in Iraq are designed to confuse voters and ensure that a chaotic end to the war is delayed until after he leaves office. Biden pointed to the turmoil that accompanied the end of the Vietnam War, with Americans plucked from the roof of the U.S. Embassy as enemy troops poured into Saigon. <We all know that when we evac'd Saigon, the USA had not been at war there for over 2 years.>
What If Joe Biden Becomes President? Would Biden be as bad as Obama? If Pelosi wasn't speaker and they picked someone smart- blue democrat to lead congress- who would be a decent House Speaker? Amthrax? I had not heard about that- my TV broke.
Have you considered Joe Biden as a candidate for President? I hope people will see him on "Hardball" with Chris Matthews. Senator Biden is the most experienced, most intelligent, most un-political of all of the candidates. His concern for our troops seems honest, compared to others...especially Bush! He has a good, realistic plan for Iraq that would be beneficial to all. Just listen to him...give him a chance!
Why is Joe Biden so far behind Obama, Clinton and Edwards? I just don't get it! Biden is hands down the most qualified of the candidates on either side. Obama has 2 years senate experience, Biden has 34 years experience. Biden works well with Republicans and has shown the ability to get things done. He is also an expert on foreign policy with a strong bi-partison history with people like Richard Lugar, Chuck Hagle, and Colin Powel. He is tough on crime and liberal when it comes to social issues. In my view he is the type of guy that could bring our country together. I am tired of the polarization and all the talk radio like Hannity, Limbaugh and Rhodes. I think Biden is going to come on because America needs him. If you look at the history of our country, we always have the right guy to lead us at the right time. Lincoln and Roosevelt for example. We need to get the word out for Joe. He will be a great President. Truly a GREAT one! I recently read his book, it is a great read. He is a remarkable man with extraordinary life event
Do any of who dismiss Joe Biden for being a racist and plaigarizer have any idea what really happened? Whether or not you would actually agree with his plans and viewpoints, its ignorant to simply write any candidate off because you heard they made a racist comment or plagiarized. There is no question what the true meaning of Biden's 'racist' comments were unless you take them out of context. And as for the plagiarism, he just cited a specific speech that he cited every single time except once that happened to be captured on film. No candidate or person for that matter would make a blatantly racist comment or plagiarize one time but cite the source every other time. They are still human and would this really make him a bad president? They dont write their own speeches anyway. lol, well at least your answer was funny Sarge.
Is Joe Biden a viable candidate? I heard that Joe Biden announced his canidacy for US President. I've been pretty impressed with the guy and kinda' like him. Has enough time passed since his plagiarism scandal when he was in college? He's more experienced than Obama, and less polarizing than Hillary. Your thoughts? Hmm. 1st 8 answers all negative. (although I don't know if I give much creedance to the hair plug one) I hope that this doesn't reflect the national thinking- or Biden's campaign is going to be wasting a lot of $$.
Why is it Joe Biden gets so little press and Clinton and Obama get all the press? Biden has immense experience, he's bright, well spoken, fantastic debater, has been in politics for 34 years, has a solid record, has many friends on both sides who very well known and respected, has been brilliant at foregin policy, and has a very workable plan to solve Iraq. He has all the qualities of a President, in my opnion - of course. Will this change over time? People need to research out the other candidates who more qualified rather than ride the media band wagon that does it for them - and often times makes the wrong desicion. All politicans have a past. Look at Bush? He used coke, he's an alcholic, he smoked weed. Did that stop him? Polticans regardless of politics act immature. They grow up. They change. Why is this bad? Sebastion - post the link where both Biden and Obama came with the Iraq solution - I have never heard this and I have done extensive researchon Biden. And, Biden in the most qualified Democrat for the 2008. By far. And, I have seen Bill Richardson and have researched him out. He stumbled and he seems confused with issues pertaining to Iraq as well as Domestic issues. I have seen both debates and was not all impressed with him.
Why not Joe Biden? Please read and answer......? Please read this article and answer... Thu Nov 29, 6:50 PM ET Joe Biden is complaining that his foes keep saying he'd be a great secretary of state. Nothing wrong with that job, he says, but he's running for president. And if he'd be better at foreign policy than his rivals, well, why in the world shouldn't he be president instead of them? Biden, the Democratic chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, is widely expected to be on the short list for secretary of state if one of his Democratic rivals wins the White House. Maybe if a Republican wins, too. But he said Thursday, speaking at a forum on Iraq: "Under no administration will I accept the job of secretary of state." A voter had asked the Delaware senator what he would do to restore U.S. credibility in the world. "That's the president's job," he said. "I know a lot of my opponents out there say I'd be a great secretary of state. Seriously, every one of them. Do you watch any of the debates? 'Joe's right, Joe's right, Joe's right.'" "I ask you a rhetorical question: Are you prepared to vote for anyone — at this moment in our history — as president who is not capable of being secretary of state? Who among my opponents would you consider appointing secretary of state? Seriously. Think about it." ___ Compiled by Philip Elliott. Copyright © 2007 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. Whoa! Joe Biden: The Surge Is A Failure. What do you all think of this? WASHINGTON — A leading Democrat on Saturday declared last year's troop buildup in Iraq a failure. Sen. Joe Biden, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said the military push didn't succeed because U.S. troops remain committed there in large numbers and political reconciliation has not been achieved. "The purpose of the surge was to bring violence in Iraq down so that its leaders could come together politically," said Biden, D-Del., in this week's Democratic radio address. "Violence has come down, but the Iraqis have not come together." He later added, "There is little evidence the Iraqis will settle their differences peacefully any time soon." Biden offered an early rebuttal to next week's testimony by Gen. David Petraeus, the top military commander in Iraq, and Ryan Crocker, the U.S. ambassador there. Petraeus and Crocker are expected to say the recent buildup in troops has succeeded in improving security. But they also likely will say that a period of assessment is needed this summer before officials can decide whether troop withdrawals can continue. Democrats have called this approach unacceptable and said they would pursue an alternative policy through legislation. They said their focus will be on restoring the strength of the Army and Marines and refocusing the nation's resources on fighting terrorists in Afghanistan. "I believe the president has no strategy for success in Iraq," Biden said. "His plan is to muddle through, and hand the problem off to his successor." Republicans say they are satisfied with the recent drop in violence and that more time is needed to improve the situation there.
Anyone see Joe Biden on Meet The Press yesterday? I was listening to him and I could help but think if we had Biden's kind of clarity in the White House right now we wouldnt be in the mess we're in. Sounds like he'd make a good president. You thoughts?
Joe Bidens Plan for Iraq? For those aware of his plans for Iraq, share your thoughts? I am supporting Joe Biden for president in 2008. I feel he is the strongest, most articulate, and well polished of all the Democratic Candidates. He has a great record. Please no bashing, just share you input on his plan as well if it will help his chances of getting nominated by Democrats. Sorry for typos - I type fast! I asked for no bashing - I wish people could just follow directions or listen. UGH!
Does Joe Biden make a valid point here? PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- Joe Biden is complaining that his foes keep saying he'd be a great secretary of state. Nothing wrong with that job, he says, but he's running for president. And if he'd be better at foreign policy than his rivals, well, why in the world shouldn't he be president instead of them? "I ask you a rhetorical question: Are you prepared to vote for anyone — at this moment in our history — as president who is not capable of being secretary of state? Who among my opponents would you consider appointing secretary of state? Seriously. Think about it." http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071129/ap_on_el_pr/political_play_of_the_day In other words, the Democrat front runners are all foreign policy LIGHTWEIGHTS (e.g. Hillary, Obama) NOTE: I'm no Biden fan, but even a broken clock is right twice a day
Why you should vote Joe Biden.? He is a Democrat like Hillary, except without all the Clinton baggage. He's more experienced than Obama (who, let's face it, people vote for because they remembered his speech at Kerry's convention.) He has sat on the Foreign Relations committee for quite some time. The next president MUST know a lot about foreign relations. He actually drafts bills and reads them, including his suggested plan for the Iraqi government---NOT partition, but federalism, which would keep the country from going into civil war and grant the Kurds, Shia, and Sunnis their own degree of autonomy within a unified Iraq. That comment about Obama being "clean" which everyone in our race-obsessed society jumped all over? Jesse Jackson himself said he spoke to Biden after the incident and he concluded it was just an unfortunate choice of words. Is electing another old white man to office something cool and different? No. But the question is who is most mature; who has the least amount of question marks...Biden 08! I, too, think Obama is articulate. Articulate and understanding of several different issues, from foreign relations, to economics, etc. are 2 separate things. Why vote Obama when you can vote in someone similar, with much more experience? Obama can always run in the future, and by that time he will have a longer voting record for us to look at.
Can we all agree that Joe Biden is the biggest windbag in the Senate? Seriously, will someone shut this guy up already? I feel embarrassed whenever he opens his trap… which seems to be always. Recently, he made these enlightening remarks about Indians: http://movies.crooksandliars.com/BidenIndian.wmv Why is it that the most outspoken jackasses on the floor all come from the Northeast. At least Ted Kennedy and Charles Schumer have a legitimate excuse: they represent important states with millions of people. Biden on the other hand represents, what, 700,000 people? What an asshole. He better not run for president in 2008 because I have no confidence whatsoever in the electorate of this country. After all, we elected and re-elected Dubya in 2000 and 2004. Orin Hatch is probably the biggest windbag outside of the northeast. I can't stand him either. cirque_de_lune: Per your logic, the majority of Americans thought George Bush was "pretty bright," as they not only elected him in 2000, but also re-elected him. He also won the popular vote.
