Joe Biden Knowledge Base
Joe Biden? Do you think Joe Biden would be a good president? I think he is one of the most bi-partisan candidates. If possible, I'd like to hear intelligent answers pro or con. Not stuff like the first idiot answer.
How much is a baseball signed by Vice President Joe Biden worth? I have a baseball signed by vice president Joe biden at a democratic rally last october at alico arena at florida gulf coast university in fort myers florida. I know its probably not worth much but I just wanted to see if it has any value at all... I know stuff signed by important people are usually kinda worth a decent amount.
Is Joe Biden among the whiniest appeaser in the US congress? I'll tell you who is full of bull&^%#, and the name is Joe Biden, a person who has wanted to appease and embolden the terrorists! Oh, and red-faced jerk voted for the war! May as well call them spineless, Bush! Joe Biden is decent? He has the record for personal insults, that's great for a liberal! He's among the most shallow and "political"
Joe Biden would have made a good president? I don't get why he dropped out of the race so soon, I mean he would have been a great candidate. He had a logical plan for Iraq, he has like 30 years of foreign policy experience, why?
Do you think Joe Biden would be a good choice for America as President? Lets face it guys, there are people out there, with guns, who dont like a Bi racial in office, ( YES I SAID BI RACIAL NOT BLACK! ) There have already been people who were planning to kill Obama. lets say in the next four years one of them succeeds, there is a mighty big chance of that happening. do you think Joe Biden, with the plaster smile on his face will be a good President?
Can anyone tell me what happened with Joe Biden and his wheelchair-bound friend? Someone told me that Joe Biden was giving a speech or something, and his friend, who is in a wheelchair, was there. Supposedly, Joe Biden asked him to stand up for some reason, and then couldn't understand why everyone was laughing at him. Did this really happen? I may not have all the details right; I couldn't find anything about it online.
Wow, did you think that Dennis K and Joe Biden won the night? Did notice that Biden understoodthe right to privacy, but Hillary seemsed to stumble on that as she said it is very important, but she got all those senators private files from the FBI. they also jumped on Obama and the lawyer made some go points.
Why is Joe Biden so far behind Obama, Clinton and Edwards? I just don't get it! Biden is hands down the most qualified of the candidates on either side. Obama has 2 years senate experience, Biden has 34 years experience. Biden works well with Republicans and has shown the ability to get things done. He is also an expert on foreign policy with a strong bi-partison history with people like Richard Lugar, Chuck Hagle, and Colin Powel. He is tough on crime and liberal when it comes to social issues. In my view he is the type of guy that could bring our country together. I am tired of the polarization and all the talk radio like Hannity, Limbaugh and Rhodes. I think Biden is going to come on because America needs him. If you look at the history of our country, we always have the right guy to lead us at the right time. Lincoln and Roosevelt for example. We need to get the word out for Joe. He will be a great President. Truly a GREAT one! I recently read his book, it is a great read. He is a remarkable man with extraordinary life event
Do any of who dismiss Joe Biden for being a racist and plaigarizer have any idea what really happened? Whether or not you would actually agree with his plans and viewpoints, its ignorant to simply write any candidate off because you heard they made a racist comment or plagiarized. There is no question what the true meaning of Biden's 'racist' comments were unless you take them out of context. And as for the plagiarism, he just cited a specific speech that he cited every single time except once that happened to be captured on film. No candidate or person for that matter would make a blatantly racist comment or plagiarize one time but cite the source every other time. They are still human and would this really make him a bad president? They dont write their own speeches anyway. lol, well at least your answer was funny Sarge.
Is there any chance Joe Biden could get the Presidential nomination for the Democratic Party? Don't overlook this very bright man. He is an expert at National Security and Foreign Policy. He has been to Iraq many times and understands the responsibility of the Presidency. He has years of experience in Congress and is one of few truly honest Senators. His Irish-Catholic background smacks of moral integrity. He cares about the poor and middle class, which is what most of us are. Try to watch his latest interview on Hard Copy. He deserves a look by undecided voters. He has an aura of "truth" that has been sorely lacking in the current administration. At least, listen to what he says! Biggg: most people???? What planet are you from? Biggg: most people???? What planet are you from?
Was Joe Biden really the 44th president of the United States? It is great seeing Obama as our next president but... Since Obama wasn't sworn in until 12:07 p.m. wouldn't that make Joe Biden the 44th President while Obama was the 45th president. He was the one already sworn in when the clock struck noon. This is just a joking around question... so please don't actually take any of this seriously!! However you can share your thought...
Has Joe Biden made history by becoming irrelevant so fast? Obama picks a tired washington insider for his "change" and McCain picks a real outsider for his change. Now that we have heard from both VP choices nowhere do you see anything about Biden. Is Sarah such a better pick that Biden pails in comparison? Why has he completely dropped off the map? Are they hiding him since he passed legislation through his committee that benefitted his lobbyist son? Joe Biden-where did you go?
What does Joe Biden mean by the Obama effect? Joe Biden said the end of the week stock market rally of 600 points was a result of the Obama effect. Does that mean the five thousand point Dow Jones drop since his election is also a result of the Obama effect?
Joe Biden is the only Democratic not disliked as much as Clinton, he has no mud slinging, why is he so behind? Clinton - I am not into her at all. I think she's intelligent, and a formdiable candidate, but, I like Joe Biden so much more. I think he is brilliant and way better than Clinton and all the rest of them. Most people that I have read on here stated that they would support Biden over Clinton as well. So, why is he so behind in the polls? I understand money, but, even if you're disliked so much like Clinton, is that still enough to gain such a nomination? I think that's wrong. Very wrong. Do you think Biden will gain momentum? Insensitive comments aobut Obama? He was complimenting him. Another man, who was also black refered to Obama as Articulate and where was his "racist" blasts? Please. The attacks on Biden were racist! Classicrock and the rest don't? You want solutions or do want Clinton? Wooper - exactly. Well said. Uh....I don't think the last answer watched any of the debates....he was the most liked out of all the candidates. Nope. You didn't watch the debates. If you did, you would know that Biden was the funniest one and had the most personality. Joe Biden = John Kerry? LOL! Uh....
Why is it Joe Biden gets so little press and Clinton and Obama get all the press? Biden has immense experience, he's bright, well spoken, fantastic debater, has been in politics for 34 years, has a solid record, has many friends on both sides who very well known and respected, has been brilliant at foregin policy, and has a very workable plan to solve Iraq. He has all the qualities of a President, in my opnion - of course. Will this change over time? People need to research out the other candidates who more qualified rather than ride the media band wagon that does it for them - and often times makes the wrong desicion. All politicans have a past. Look at Bush? He used coke, he's an alcholic, he smoked weed. Did that stop him? Polticans regardless of politics act immature. They grow up. They change. Why is this bad? Sebastion - post the link where both Biden and Obama came with the Iraq solution - I have never heard this and I have done extensive researchon Biden. And, Biden in the most qualified Democrat for the 2008. By far. And, I have seen Bill Richardson and have researched him out. He stumbled and he seems confused with issues pertaining to Iraq as well as Domestic issues. I have seen both debates and was not all impressed with him.
Why is Joe Biden so stupid as to say this? Democrat Joe Biden charged Tuesday that President Bush's policies in Iraq are designed to confuse voters and ensure that a chaotic end to the war is delayed until after he leaves office. Biden pointed to the turmoil that accompanied the end of the Vietnam War, with Americans plucked from the roof of the U.S. Embassy as enemy troops poured into Saigon. <We all know that when we evac'd Saigon, the USA had not been at war there for over 2 years.>
Would Joe Biden be a good running mate for Barack Obama? Biden brings his decades of experience in the Senate foreign relations committee to the presidential ticket. He has a mostly liberal voting record, but he's still well liked by conservatives, and he's well known around the country because he's on TV a lot.
Joe Biden.......? Is Joe Biden making ground in Iowa? He's the only decent one out there.
Joe Biden? He is the only democrat running for the presidency that seems to be moderate, genuine, competent, and not completely consumed by the Dark Side, a.k.a. the hard left. I try to watch the demcoratic debates in their entirety, but find myself changing the channel at least a dozen times. Because their rhetoric is so phony and rehearsed. None of them offer "ideal" change for this country. Oh sure, they'll change it. They'll change it into a powerful centralized government, European modeled socialist nation. What have the republicans offered? Health Care: A much better solution to our health care crisis, like HSA's, potable insurance between states, individuals getting tax free money to go toward private insurance. Capping frivolous lawsuits that drive up the cost. More individual involvement in shopping for better prices, thus helping to create competition and lower costs. Education: Vouchers for school choice. Our schools are complete failures, especially when compared to other industrialized nations. Taxes: Simple. We don't need any new taxes. Possible flat tax or fair tax and the abolition of the IRS. Illegal Immigration: Secure the border with a wall and more border security. Fine employers hiring illegals. Allow for better detection if an illegal doesn't match up with their SS#. English as our official language. And on and on and on. I don't feel like typing all night.
Whoa! Joe Biden: The Surge Is A Failure. What do you all think of this? WASHINGTON — A leading Democrat on Saturday declared last year's troop buildup in Iraq a failure. Sen. Joe Biden, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said the military push didn't succeed because U.S. troops remain committed there in large numbers and political reconciliation has not been achieved. "The purpose of the surge was to bring violence in Iraq down so that its leaders could come together politically," said Biden, D-Del., in this week's Democratic radio address. "Violence has come down, but the Iraqis have not come together." He later added, "There is little evidence the Iraqis will settle their differences peacefully any time soon." Biden offered an early rebuttal to next week's testimony by Gen. David Petraeus, the top military commander in Iraq, and Ryan Crocker, the U.S. ambassador there. Petraeus and Crocker are expected to say the recent buildup in troops has succeeded in improving security. But they also likely will say that a period of assessment is needed this summer before officials can decide whether troop withdrawals can continue. Democrats have called this approach unacceptable and said they would pursue an alternative policy through legislation. They said their focus will be on restoring the strength of the Army and Marines and refocusing the nation's resources on fighting terrorists in Afghanistan. "I believe the president has no strategy for success in Iraq," Biden said. "His plan is to muddle through, and hand the problem off to his successor." Republicans say they are satisfied with the recent drop in violence and that more time is needed to improve the situation there.
Why not Joe Biden? Please read and answer......? Please read this article and answer... Thu Nov 29, 6:50 PM ET Joe Biden is complaining that his foes keep saying he'd be a great secretary of state. Nothing wrong with that job, he says, but he's running for president. And if he'd be better at foreign policy than his rivals, well, why in the world shouldn't he be president instead of them? Biden, the Democratic chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, is widely expected to be on the short list for secretary of state if one of his Democratic rivals wins the White House. Maybe if a Republican wins, too. But he said Thursday, speaking at a forum on Iraq: "Under no administration will I accept the job of secretary of state." A voter had asked the Delaware senator what he would do to restore U.S. credibility in the world. "That's the president's job," he said. "I know a lot of my opponents out there say I'd be a great secretary of state. Seriously, every one of them. Do you watch any of the debates? 'Joe's right, Joe's right, Joe's right.'" "I ask you a rhetorical question: Are you prepared to vote for anyone — at this moment in our history — as president who is not capable of being secretary of state? Who among my opponents would you consider appointing secretary of state? Seriously. Think about it." ___ Compiled by Philip Elliott. Copyright © 2007 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. Should Joe Biden resign for his bigoted remarks? Here we have Don Imus. He made a mistake. But, he's not an elected leader. We have an elected leader in Joe Biden who, more than once, has shown the stereotypes floating around in his mind. IMO, Don Imus is a radio personality. Joe Biden was elected to represent his constituents. Who is more deserving to lose their position? Arianah, I agree, but people call for Imus' firing, when he's little more than a voice. Joe Biden votes on legislation that affects all of us, but he gets a pass. That strikes me as incongrous. Crabby - Biden has done this more than once - not just with Barack Obama, but with regard to convenience store owners. The point is, Don Imus is meaningless. Period. He's not a leader. Joe Biden is supposed to be. I therefore hold him to a higher standard.
Joe Biden smart, articulate -- can get us out of Iraq. Do you agree ? Joe Biden did not dance around questions given him in last night's debate. He's very direct -- has always had a plan for a better future for our country and a plan for our withdrawal from Iraq. Several are concerned about the partitioning of Iraq. Go to Joe Biden for President on Internet and scroll down to #8. He explains this fully.
Joe Biden information? Im researching a project on Joe Biden, we have to include what our candidate have done in the past and the consequences of his/her actions? Where can I find information on this topic or does anyone know anything on it? Im not asking for criticism or anything
Questions for Joe Biden? Tomorrow evening (Sunday, July 22), I will be participating in a conference call with Senator Joe Biden. He is doing this for people who have pledged to host a party to watch Monday's Democratic debate. Please post your questions for Senator Biden and I will try to ask some of them of the Senator when I speak with him tomorrow evening.
Is Joe Biden a viable candidate? I heard that Joe Biden announced his canidacy for US President. I've been pretty impressed with the guy and kinda' like him. Has enough time passed since his plagiarism scandal when he was in college? He's more experienced than Obama, and less polarizing than Hillary. Your thoughts? Hmm. 1st 8 answers all negative. (although I don't know if I give much creedance to the hair plug one) I hope that this doesn't reflect the national thinking- or Biden's campaign is going to be wasting a lot of $$.
Did Joe Biden drop out to soon? Isn't it ridiculous to drop out before the first primary is even held? Something is wrong with the process when a great candidate like Joe Biden drops out so early.
Senator Joe Biden? Joe Biden for Prez!!! The only candidate out there that has the smarts, experience, judgement, and guts to do America proud!!! Whadya think? http://www.joebiden.com/ My my, such hostility this morning. He is low in the polls to be sure but this race a a marathon and it wouldn't surprise me to se Clinton and Obama self destruct, neither one is worth a damn. As for Republican candidate, even worse.
Does Joe Biden make a valid point here? PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- Joe Biden is complaining that his foes keep saying he'd be a great secretary of state. Nothing wrong with that job, he says, but he's running for president. And if he'd be better at foreign policy than his rivals, well, why in the world shouldn't he be president instead of them? "I ask you a rhetorical question: Are you prepared to vote for anyone — at this moment in our history — as president who is not capable of being secretary of state? Who among my opponents would you consider appointing secretary of state? Seriously. Think about it." http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071129/ap_on_el_pr/political_play_of_the_day In other words, the Democrat front runners are all foreign policy LIGHTWEIGHTS (e.g. Hillary, Obama) NOTE: I'm no Biden fan, but even a broken clock is right twice a day
Will Joe Biden run on an Independent ticket.? I am a Republican who will admit that I am not very happy with my party right now. That in no way means that I agree with anything the democrats are doing. I will vote republican again if Fred Thompson gets the nomination but that doesn't seem likely. I would consider Joe Biden but I will not vote for anyone who runs under the democatic banner. Joe F: You are exactly right , but voting for someone who runs under the democratic banner might give some some people that I am putting a stamp of approval on all the democratic policies and that's not true.
Isnt comparing Joe Biden to Don Imus just a partisan rant? Don Imus is a radio personality that made a crude joke some people overreacted to. Joe Biden is a Democrat that Republicans would NEVER question how he words his compliments if he were one of their own. Why the wide stretch to compare the two, unless it is a partisan attempt to justify intellectual dishonesty? Moltar?...
Barack Obama for President and Joe Biden for Vice President? Good ticket? Yes/No? I like Obama, compared to McCain, but if Obama picks either Edwards or Clinton for his running mate, I'll seriously have to rethink voting for him seeing how I really don't like either Edwards and Clinton. I like Senator Joe Biden as a vice president. He's intelligent, has thoughts similar to Obama, and surely has Washington/Capital Hill influence and experience. I think he offsets Obama's weaknesses. So is Joe Biden a good choice for veep???
Why Is Democrat Joe Biden Such A Huge Racist? Where Is The Uproar? Well on top of failing to withdraw the troops, and Harry Reid making questionable land deals, Delaware Democrat Joe Biden referred to Barack Hussein Obama as " the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man." Why are Democrats so racist? Where is the uproar within the party? http://www.abcnews.go.com/Politics/story?id=2838420&page=1 Are Democrats so confident in holding onto their slim majority that they'll allow members of the party to defame it?
What does this mean? Joe Biden?? I'm reasearching on Joe Biden and I don't get what this means: Authorize NHTSA to develop attribute-based fuel economy model to raise fuel economy for individual vehicle models by 4 percent per year increase – approximately 1 mile per gallon each year
Is everyone in agreement JOE BIDEN SHOULD BE PRESIDENT!? I have read all aboutthe republican and democrat candidates. I have confirmed that the best way to get our national debt under control is by a democrat president with a democrat congress. (History proves this) so is seems joe Biden is the BEST candidate. The best experience, the best views. the BEST democrat. agree?
Obama VP: Wes Clark, Phil Bredesen, Kathleen Sebelius, or Joe Biden? Don't know these people? Check out these wikipedia links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Bredesen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wesley_Clark http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kathleen_Sebelius http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_biden I think these are the most probable candidates. Personally, I think he needs some older white guy with foreign affairs experience. So even though Clark supported Clinton before, I think he would be the best fit and might switch over to Obama. Who do you like of these four? Or if you must argue another..make it good!
Are Democrats So Afraid Of Losing To Republicans That They Gave Joe Biden A Pass? Are they so fearful of appearing to the public as not being in agreement on their policies that they gave Joe Biden a pass on his racist and insensitive comments? Nothing says you're forgiven than a stint on the Daily Show. Biden has a history of racially charged comments that show a pattern of an elitist racist. Typical Democrat, they turn the other cheek on their own. Is this why they gave him a pass?
Why is Joe Biden behind Hillary? I agree with Biden on many issues besides gun control. But out of all the Democrats, he is probably the best, in my opinion. He does not want to completely cut and run from Iraq, like Hillary and Obama seem to want to do. He made a detailed plan on how he would slowly withdraw from Iraq and how he would deal with the security problems there. He seems like a nice guy who actually cares about the country. If Hillary is so disliked, I wonder why she is way ahead of Biden when many say they will vote for Biden.
Is Joe Biden the latest with the Harry Reid Style flip flop? Again exact quote, in the hope of forestalling the liberal ..whine... The American people are looking for us as Democrats," said Biden, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. "They're looking for someone literally, not figuratively, to restore America's place in the world." Biden said the country's other problems cannot be solved until the U.S. successfully deals with Iraq. First, to equality precongnitive reading of unconditional failure as Harry Reid has done is going to be hard to justify as successfull handling and retreat is also difficult if not impossible to classify as a success. Unless they have George Stephanopolous and the spin doctors working overtime on this one, it appears Chuck Shumer isnt the only one who thinks Harry ought to put a cork in it. The infighiting with the liberal extremist pelosi ites once they found out they cant deliver the magic pill on iraq is priceless..truly priceless... CHANGING YOUR MIND...LMFAO...at what point does retreat become successfull handling...im not aware thats changing yourmind....liberals..gotta love em...lmfao.
SENATOR JOE BIDEN: What Did He Mean When He Said B. HUSSEIN OBAMA was...? "clean" for a black man? Also, on the videos that you can see elsewhere, including YouTube, what did Biden mean when he said he could compete with John Edwards because he was from a "slave state". Finally, what did Biden mean when he said you can't go to a 7-11 or Dunkin Donuts without "being able to speak indian?" Where's the Lib outrage? LMAO. This is why Republicans own the White House.
Joe Biden, his chances in your book? I've noticed Biden in every debate, and while his campaign is not as well funded as Hillary's or Obama's, he comes off as a smart guy with a lot of experience. Do you think he'll end up on the ticket? Senator Joe Biden is a Democrat running for president in this election, if you look up his name, you'll probably find his website, just like all the candidates have.
Joe Biden, the "bridge" candidate? As a Republican,I'm a little perplexed by my thoughts concerning Sen.Biden;I actually agree with his stance on some major issues.Anyone else think he has a chance of gaining the votes of other Republicans? Just for the record: Hillary:devisive and un-electable Obama:too green(not enough experience) Edwards:classic Democratic nutcase Richardson:doesn't seem to have a "backbone" Kusenich:If I can't spell his name,he's convinced me of nothing Dodd:Who? Elway the cat, Time will tell about Hillary.Funny, she seems to make an effort to distance herself from her obvious past:" Hillary" instead of Mrs.Clinton,or even Senator Clinton. Think 1st, Interesting perspective;thanks.
Do you think Joe Biden will be the VP for either Obama or Clinton? Watch him on this. Biden really is an amazing politician. I think he'd be a great VP for either. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zAIoVWeoKk Justjen- Obama will never be VP. His ego is far to large. quat -explain how? quat- did you watch the youtube? how in the world can edwards compete with biden's vast forigen policy experience. the two aren't even in the same league with regards to intellect.
Joe Biden is a Racist???? Are MOST Dumbocrats closet racists like JoJo? Why is this not ruining his career like it did Republican George Allen? Is the Liberal Press giving him a pass? http://www.right-thoughts.us/index.php/weblog/comments/joe_bidens_racist_comment/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sM19YOqs7hU He also slams on Indians.
Is Joe Biden dishonest or just slow? During the youtube debate when Biden was asked if he flew there on a private jet, he hesitated, put his hand partly up, partly down, then back up again (slowly), and Anderson Cooper asked him if he wasn't sure how he got there. Hilarious! Bill Richardson waffled also. I'm sorry, but 1988 was a long time ago, and that is a pathetic excuse for trying to avoid answering an honest question. I didn't know about his health issues and frankly they do not relate to the current debate.
If Joe Biden was the Democratic Nominee, is this smartest move for Dems? I think so. He is a great statesman, and is correct on Iraq, Iran, and Darfur. He has PLANS too! Plus, he's honest. He always admits his past mistakes like his plagarism and is upfront and candid about it. And, that is about his only mistake, and for a politican - that's not bad. IMO. Why aren't the Dem's sidin' with Biden???
