Why do I get the feeling the the Dems or going to blow the 2008 election? Who are going to be the two front-runners in the 2008 election? I haven't seen the news in over a year, my only access to election information is from the internet. Unfortunately you can't get a good feel for who the front-runners are from internet news sources. paradigm_thinker: In my ideal election it would be Obama and Mccain, they individually represent the best qualities of their respective parties, but this isn't an ideal world and I don't want to throw my opinion away on candidates who are going to lose.

Other considerations for 2008 Election? What role, if any, should the current price of gas play in the 2008 Presidential Election? We are seeing corporate profits go through the roof and yet US fuel production is down. Is Yahoo withholding the discuss option until after the 2008 Presidential election? My belief is that Yahoo pulled the Discuss Option after the last election because there was so much anti-republican sentiment expressed and revealing information shared which resulted in a Democratic windfall! I believe Yahoo will withhold reinstating the Discuss Option until after the 2008 elections so that no group can share or discuss the news as it relates to the candidates.
