His grandfather converted to Muslim after World War I, and his stepdad was muslim. Barack Obama is not Muslim, and even if he were, it would not make him a bad candidate for presidency. Barack Obama???????????? Anyone want to fill me in about Barack Obama. Is he a Muslim? Hindu? Converted Christian? The point about Obama is that unlike the Hilary Clintons of this world he is up front about his origins. This is not to impugn Ms. Clinton who may be what she says she is. But many WASPy types are closet Jews etc. and refuse to come out about it. Not only are the Obamas of the world up front, they also expect YOU to pay for their passions and causes.They decry the inequality between the West and the African nations with even greater passion that the Bill Clintons, etc. And in the end, the West (where most of us are sorely deprived) pays for the inequality with money which should be going to pay for the rebuilding of American city infrastructure. So is what you see what you get? Is it not a case of Obama being as `white as we are` but a case of his being a whole lot blacker?????????????????

Where do people get the idea that Senator Barack Obama is a Muslim?? I think a great deal of Americans actually think he is a Muslim. It is really sad, in my opinion. The fact is, that Obama's Kenyan father was raised Muslim. (Keep in mind that Kenya is a Muslim nation). His father converted to Christianity, before dying at a young age. Today, Obama is a member of the Church of Christ, and he is a devout Christian. PROVE TO ME I AM WRONG! From what I see on the answers to other questions people seem to think he is Muslim. Where does this come from? A couple people have said he converted Christian. If this is true, prove it! He is a member of the United Church of Christ, and always has been. And one of you said "so what if he is a muslim." Good point. I honestly wouldn't vote a muslim, but most muslims are very good people. Is Sen. Barack Obama still a Muslim? I heard a rumor about this a while back, and I would really like to know if he is still Muslim. Please answer my question if you are 100% sure you know the answer.
