Do you think Hillary Clinton is behind this mysterious website aimed at getting tips against rivals? Unauthorized 'Hillaryis44' Website Hits Obama June 25, 2007 4:33 PM ABC News' Jake Tapper Reports: A mysterious website has emerged disseminating pro-Clinton and anti-anyone-who-isn't-Hillary propaganda. "We are not affiliated with the Hillary For President Exploratory Committee, or any official Hillary Clinton organization in any way," says the pro-Clinton website "Hillaryis44.com," the creators of which are anonymous and elusive. Conservative commentator Peggy Noonan says the website "reads like The Warrior's Id ... In tone the site is very Tokyo Rose. Encouraging readers to send in 'confidential tips,' its primary target and obvious obsession is Barack Obama." Various passages say: "Senator Barack Obama (D-Rezko) is busy lately lying about President Bill Clinton" and "attacking entire communities." Another passage reads: "We have written extensively on Obama, and his indicted slumlord friend Antoin 'Tony' Rezko. We have repeatedly warned David Axelrod, Michelle Michelle Obama and Barack Obama that this story is not going away." According to the website, the Obama campaign is "still posing as innocents incapable of doing anything unsavory even as evidence mounts that unsavory is their favorite dish."
What exactly does this paragraph from Hillary Clinton's website mean? As president, Hillary would focus American aid efforts during our redeployment on stabilizing Iraq, not propping up the Iraqi government. She would direct aid to the entities -- whether governmental or non-governmental -- most likely to get it into the hands of the Iraqi people. She would also support the appointment of a high level U.N. representative -- similar to those appointed in Afghanistan, Bosnia, and Kosovo -- to help broker peace among the parties in Iraq.
Hillary Clinton? Hey! I was wondering if anyone knew of a website of hillary's plans is she was to become president? Also a website with a shortened list of the issues she stands or does not stand by
How to obtain free Hillary Clinton stuff? I am looking to find free Hillary Clinton gear such as signs, banners, pins, stickers, etc to place in my yard and hand out for other people. Anyone know of anyway to get these for free? Person that gives the best answer or the best website, will get "Best Answer, 10 points"! Thanks!! I can not obtain anything free from her campaign site other then a bumper sticker... Any other places? thanks!
Anyone else hear the news that Hillary Clinton is a man? According to a website blog that was leaked all over the internet, there is breaking news that Hillary has been comfirmed a man. It was reported that the former First Lady's family OB/GYN was away on vacation in Russia. Due to an unknown emergency the Doctor, who will remain anonymous, treating Mrs. Clinton in fact confirmed that Hillary was...Billary I didn't hear it either...sadly Soooo...on that note, anyone have anything new to talk about?
Does Anyone Else Think That the Media Hates Hillary Clinton? Seriously, every time I see a website, newspaper, magazine, or television program concerning Hillary Clinton I see pictures of her either yelling, pointing her finger, or looking frustrated and angry. Do you think the media simply hates Hillary or that maybe they are femnist or simply think its funny to mock her? In contrast, when they present Obama - the other candidate who has raised a lot of eyes in the public, he is presented smiling, confident, and calm. It just seems very opposite.
Does anyone know where Hillary Clinton will be campaigning in the next week? I have a few (policy related) questions for her, and have thus far received no response. I also submitted 2 blogs for her website but neither was posted. I emailed her office, but while her site provides options like "request a flag" and "comment", it has no option for asking a simple question. My husband tried calling her office, hoping to ask a question about her vote to authorize the invasion of Iraq, (whether she was 1 of only 6 senators who actually bothered to read the classified national intelligence estimate prior to her vote, which contained information that criticized and dissented from the declassified "cliff notes" version that the public had access to). He was told that this is "personal information". Of all senators who have been asked this question (regarding whether they actually went to the special room to read the report), she is the only one I am aware of who considers this question "personal". Anyway, anybody know where she'll be appearing next? Let me clarify. I am absolutely not interested in stalking her. Her website only gives you the option of inputting a specific zip code and then it tells you whether she will be within a few miles of that zip code. My husband and I are off for the week and we are involved in some grass roots organizations and we would like a couple of specific answers to specific questions. If she will be appearing within a few hours of us in any direction, we would love to attend a gathering. The campaign's office staff say they don't know any other way of finding out. By the way, I am not an enemy of this woman, I just think that if a democracy is going to function properly, then ordinary citizens need to have a chance to have a chance to present a dissenting voice, ask specific challenging questions, especially when the mainstream media fails to, etc. W Hill, I don't know if you think you have in any way attempted to answered my question, but perhaps my additional detail (above) will assist you in that. Thanks. W Hill, I can hardly believe that someone would choose to spend so much time on "yahoo answers" not answering people's questions and making totally baseless assumptions. Who said anything about "right away".. I originally asked her a question 3 months ago, and have thus far received tons of form letters thanking me for my support, and 1 that asked me to be patient. Mind you, they employ people full time just to keep the blogs completely free of any mildly critical voice. But that is beside the point, my question was simple and straightforward. If you are a Clinton supporter, it's in her best interest that you not share it with the rest of us.
Why do so many people hate Hillary Clinton? I'm a Canadian girl and recently went on her website. She wants to stop the Iraq war and is issuing the health care system. What's there to hate? I don't really know what's going on in the United States, so I know I sound a bit naive. Please: serious, mature responses only. =)
Biden to be replaced a VP by Hillary Clinton? Now these are very early reports but not out of the question. You think Obama would throw Old Joe under the buss like he did to his grandmother in 2008 before 2012. Who for? Hillary as has been suggested? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1061791/Could-Clinton-come-Internet-buzzes-rumours-Biden-replaced-Hillary-Obamas-running-mate.html (Not sure how reliable the Daily Mail is but its a website that popped up.)
Hillary Clinton? For years you have been asked if you would consider running for president to which you always said, NO. You and your husband's entire careers were built on lies. I feel that as a nation we deserve a leader who will represent our interests and not a liar who will misrepresent us. On your website you claim that you will be the cure many of the economic problems we face today. These are problems that were created and accelerated during the first Clinton administration. Think NAFTA. I say these things with all due respect. I sincerely hope that whoever wins the 2008 election will be a people's president. Something we have not had for too long. Someone who will be able to do something positive for the people of this nation and not the interests of the World Trade Organization, multinational corporations and or special interest groups. You big shot politicians seem to have forgotton that government is servient. Being an elected official means being of service to the people.
Hillary Clinton Announces Agenda to improve the Quality of health care of all americans? Yesterday in New Hampshire, Hillary announced her vision to improve the quality of health care for all Americans, detailing her commitment to improving health care delivery and creating financial incentives to ensure that all Americans get the right care at the right time. Read more about her vision to improve health care quality on our website: http://www.hillaryclinton.com/healthcarequality While the dedicated health care providers in the United States are among the best in the world, many Americans worry about the quality of care they receive. For the amount of money that we spend on health care, Americans should be getting better quality care. A 2006 survey from Kaiser Family Foundation and AHRQ found that 51 percent of Americans were dissatisfied with the quality of the nation's health care system. And a RAND study shows that American adults on average fail to receive about half the recommended care that modern clinical science says they need. Building on the proposal she announced in May to reduce health care costs by $120 billion a year, Hillary's vision for quality health care returns patients to the center of the health care system by empowering those who provide care -- physicians, nurses, other clinicians, and health care organizations -- and relying on their skill to improve that care. I hope you will read these proposals and help us spread the word by forwarding them on to everyone you know who cares about the quality of health care in America. Hillary wants these proposals to be the first step of an ongoing dialogue, and I hope that you will reach out to me with your ideas. We look forward to continuing this important conversation with you.

Hillary Clinton?? Webinar??? Presidency from behind a web cam??? You know.. it's one thing to not stand for ANYTHING... it's one thing to meet the minimum residency requirments to run for political office... it's entirely another thing to run for President while you are still a "Junior Senator" from New York.... But is it possible to dodge the Political Bullet from behind a webcam. Part brilliance on the Clinton Campaign... State your business and not have to answer any question...can you imagine if she could debate rudy under the same format? Rudy won't allow her to run from the issues and hide behind a website and will demand that she makes a stance on all of the issues... which will be a problem... after all... Her husband couldn't figure out if he had "relations" with that woman or not.... Something about an apple and a tree here that comes to mind....
Do you think that Hillary Clinton will or should win the 2008 Democratic party nomination? I recently read an article (in a British newspaper albiet) about whether or not Hillary and will win the nomination. I personally agree with the author of the article. In it he describes how the race for this nomination is party machine (Clinton) versus what he calls the 'netroots', the rising influence of the hip new internet bloggers and website go-ers. This was the case with the last election where Kerry (the Establishment party machine) won against Dean (the netroot) in the end, and yet wound up losing anyway. People hate Hillary, and I think she will lose against ANY Republican candidate (especially McCain). So do you think she should get the nomination. Personally I think she should act like a Trojan horse for the Dems; let the Republicans think she is the one they are backing, and then at the last minute throw support into some long shot candidate. http://observer.guardian.co.uk/columnists/story/0,,1771831,00.html Thats the article, what do you think?

Are Hillary Clinton supporters just desperate or highly uninformed? Information on the issues is available for every candidate on all the online news websites, CNN , MSNBC and even Yahoo have large sections dedicated to how each candidate stands on the issues. Most people with at least a High School degree should be able to maneuver these sites. Yet Hillary supporters say, “WE can not find information on Obama!”. Exit polls show that Hillary supporters are the least educated voters, and I have to wonder if comprehensive of the issues is the problem.. Another Information website on Obama for the issues is also at, http://www.barackobama.com/issues/
If Hillary Clinton became president...? and we had National Healthcare, wouldn't that cause problems when it came to the fact that there are 301,139,947 people in this country, and about 1,000,000 of them go to the hospital per week. If the average hospital bill is $2000 (according to a website I visited), an 301,139,947 people have to pay a little bit of $2000, then each person (in taxes) would have to pay $6.54 for each person who goes to the hospital! And if you do more math, that's 64,000 PER WEEK! That's what a normal wtaxpayer would have to pay PER WEEK!!! HOW IN THE WORLD CAN HILLARY MAKE NATIONAL HEALTH CARE WORK???? SHE CANT! Fine if 1/4 of the people are unisured, that's still like 16,000 per week.
Hillary Clinton position on health care? What is Hillary's stance on health care? like, what is her health care plan she has about....i tried reading it on her website, but i got a bit muddled (ha i'm 16 and i have to write a paper on this). Is there anything good about it...i think she basically wants everyone covered but can there be any negative consequences?
Against Hillary Clinton for President? Why are you against Hillary Clinton for President? Only specific and serious answers please. I was reading her take on issues on her website and I don't understand the reasons why people would be against her decisions? Please explain.
Why Did Hillary Clinton LIE About Obama? So you all must of heard about the whole Obama and NAFTA thing. Well, now the truth has finally come out and Hillary is caught red-handed. She exaggerated things about Obama and made it seem like Obama was the liar. This woman will say and do anything to make herself look good. She first released a picture of Obama wearing traditional African clothing on a trip he made to insinuate he some sort of Muslim, which is false. And now she is lying about the NAFTA thing as well. On the Canadian Embassy website: "In the recent report produced by the Consulate General in Chicago, there was no intention to convey, in any way, that Senator Obama and his campaign team were taking a different position in public from views expressed in private, including about NAFTA. We deeply regret any inference that may have been drawn to that effect. For more detailed explaination of all this go to the link below. After reading, you might want to watch the video provided at the same site, at the right-hand side by Neil McDonald. http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2008/03/03/obama-canada.html?ref=rss There is also this video you can watch: http://youtube.com/watch?v=eLJJ88HTiX8
Was anyone surprised that Hillary Clinton lost? Okay, I'm not really into politics. However, there are comments being made every day that I find so annoying. I couldn't resist. There was a comment posted a website for Yahoo, "New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, reeling from defeat in Iowa at the hands of Barack Obama, urged Democratic voters on Friday not to build up "false hopes" by choosing an inexperienced presidential candidate. " Honestly, she's right as far as having experience in the presidential seat. She's already been there in her husband's name. She didn't get the job done. So step aside and give someone else a chance. There was a comment that women would be stepping up voting for her at the chance of having a female Pres. Right... women are not dumb enough to vote for someone simply because they're a woman. My neighbor, a female, refuses to vote for Democrats because they do nothing for our military members who give their lives for this country, whether they are female or not. Anyway, just had to vent Yossarius: Don't forget. It was the democrats that downsized our military and starting kicking everyone out to save the budget, thus weakening our military force. It seems like every time a Democrat steps into office, the first thing they start doing is downsizing. I agree with some of those when it comes to celebraties. I think that they should keep their comments to themselves and let the little people use their own brains. Use that power to help feed the poor. You know, on the Oprah show they gave away a new car to all of the guests one year. Think about how many mouths that would have fed around the US and the world.
Is this really true about Hillary Clinton?? I was sent a link to look at this website and found it to be disturbing? Do you guys think this is really true about Hillary? http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=56868 and http://www.hillcap.org/default.php?page_id=2
Is it politically wise of HIllary to disparage creationists in interviews and back out of it in her website? In a New York Times interview HIllary CLinton expressed SHOCK that there were republican Senators that believed in evolution giving tired arguments that sounded to me like they were out of a sixth grade science book Now after expressing NO CONCERN over schools that don't allow teachers to academically criticize poor argument for evolution no matter how unscientific, Hillary has no mention of her anti creation views on her web site. Is this two faced liberalism of the day ... or is it just Hillary? http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/05/us/pol... believe in evolution, and I am shocked at some of the things that people in public life have been saying,” Mrs. Clinton said in the interview. “I believe that our founders had faith in reason and they also had faith in God, and one of our gifts from God is the ability to reason.” In the telephone interview after the speech, Mrs. Clinton also tacitly criticized opponents of evolution. Some of the 2008 Republican presidential candidates have said flatly that they do not believe in evolution, while other Republican contenders have said they support teaching evolution, intelligent design and creationist ideas.
Can you recall any major media network saying anything inherently positive about Hillary? It seems like every station I turn to (even very liberal radio shows) accuse Hillary Clinton of being a media-driven sensation that Barack Obama must overcome for the purpose of "change". If there is no station (TV or Radio) that is willing to say anything positive about her, then I fail to see what Barack Obama's big obstacle is... Can you provide a link to any clips of the media touting Hillary's good points other than her own website?
Why did Hilary Clinton decide to run for president? in my social studies class we're doing research reports on the candidates for the 2008 election and i am doing it on hillary clinton. we're supposed to find why the person we're doing is running for president, but i cant find any information about it and need serious help. with you're answers please put the website you got it from, because i have to have a reference page.
For any of you that think that Hillary gained any experience as the first lady please tell me why you think... this. I'm very interested in how Hillary has pulled the wool over everyone's eyes. Please cite any credible sources as to Hillary's experience as it pertains to her time in the White House. I have a quote here from Bloomberg.com that can be verified at whitehouse.gov or the Library of Congress website. "Clinton's claim to foreign policy experience took a hit from a front-page New York Times article that showed that as first lady she didn't have national security clearance, attend national security meetings or have access to the president's daily intelligence briefing. There is no record of her weighing in on any military decisions. When Bill Clinton was deciding to bomb bin Laden's suspected training camp in Sudan, it was at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal when Hillary Clinton says she wasn't speaking to her husband. " That would be like saying just because my wife lives with me, that it qualifies her to do my job and that she racks up experience pertaining to my job. Face it, Hillary was not involved in Bill's job, she didn't even have the clearance to be involved if she wanted to. Swoosh nothing..... Ron Paul Girl... Sources Please. MRS Crosby. Arkansas education system was ranked 49th after Hillary was done with it. As for women's rights, she's harbored a rapist filanderer for years and you want to tell me she stands for women's rights?
When will Hillary Clinton SUSPEND her campaign? She can't beat McCain! The most RECENT polls show this! Check it out yourself at: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/national.html If the link doesn't work then just go to the 'Real Clear Politics' website. My proof is there! HOT FUSS, Actually I DO have a say in it DUMB DUMB! Because we the voters decide ALL of the candidates political fate! Stay in school! YOU NEED IT! vt500asc, You don't now how to read do you? The RECENT polls is what is important dumb dumb! AND I WROTE THIS ALREADY! You need to learn how to read eistein! Kate M, Are you 2 years old? Nothing you said made any sense! Do you think Hillary Clinton should run as an independent?? I think so....Obama is going to lose no matter what. She HAS recieved the most votes EVER!!! I even went to her website and told her she should run independent...... Do you think she should? Well for me it's either Hillary or McCain so I don't care how bad it hurts Obama. If you think Hillary should run independent tell her!!
Hillary Clinton: Political positions/views? What are Hillary Clinton's view/positions on the Presidential Election of 2008? I know she is a democrat, but what does she support? What is she against? A website would be nice, and citing your sources aswell! Thanks a whole lot!
Who needs a private sector when we have a Clinton make our health-care choices? Who needs a private sector when we have a Clinton make our health-care choices? The new Hillary health-care plan is very different from the old 1993-1994 Hillary plan. It is far slyer, and far cleverer, far more well-packaged. The same arguments that applied to the old Hillary plan do not necessarily apply to the new plan. But the new health plan ends up in the same place as the old health plan — with the government running everything. Here are the primary problems with the new Hillary health plan: What Entitlement Crisis? As everyone should know by now, our nation faces a dramatic entitlements crisis that will play out over the next 30 years. Federal spending has been hovering in a fairly stable manner, around 20-percent of GDP (Gross Domestic Product), for over 50 years now, since the early 1950s. But the Federal government’s own official projections show that over the next 30 years or so, federal spending will soar to 40-percent of GDP, requiring total federal taxes as a percent of GDP to double. This is due to the exploding costs of the entitlement programs we already have, primarily Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. Hillary Clinton and other Democrats respond to this overwhelming crisis by proposing that we not reform any of the existing entitlements. Rather, they suggest that we endorse massive new entitlements, including for instance, National Health Insurance. Policy suggestions like this force one to wonder, are the democrats numerically illiterate? The Individual Mandate Hillary Clinton’s plan starts out very simply: she will mandate under federal law that everyone in America must buy health insurance, and by this she supposedly achieves universal coverage. The catch, of course, is that once you start down the road with this mandate, you end up with government-run health care. If you are going to require people to buy health insurance, then the next question which follows is, exactly what do they have to buy to fulfill this requirement? Suppose they buy the Fraternity Plan that pays only for unlimited beer and pizza during the weekends? Have they satisfied the requirement? The serious point is if you are going to require people to buy health insurance, then you are going to have to specify exactly what health-plan people will have to buy to satisfy this requirement. So the government has gone from telling you that you need health insurance, to telling you what kind of health-insurance coverage or plan you must have. And with Hillary, we can assume that this will be no basic, minimum plan. But Hillary continues to insist that this is not government-run health care. And this, of course, is only the beginning. Special interests will swarm to get their favored coverage in the required plan. People will merrily get used to billing everything in the plan to the insurance company. And costs will rise. People will start complaining that they can’t afford paying for this costly coverage, and whining that the government must do something. The government itself will already be paying for a lot of this coverage, and budgets will therefore explode. So the government will do something to control costs. It will start rationing. It will start telling people what services and treatments they can have, and when. It will start delaying access to new innovations. It will squeeze payments to health care providers so much that the providers will start rationing what they provide. Government guidelines will start dictating to these providers that they ration care, and how to do it. After a while, people start to realize, “hey, we have government run health care.” Don’t doubt it. This is exactly what happens with every other country that tries to mandate or provide coverage through government. They realize ultimately there must be some way to control costs. There is no market in these plans to control costs. So the government must do it through the only alternative – rationing. Indeed (we will see below), Hillary’s plan already includes the machinery for this rationing. It doesn’t help that a small band of too clever conservatives have been supporting just such an individual mandate since 1993-94, when broad objections from conservatives defeated their plan. Congratulations to these folks today. Hillary Clinton has adopted their plan, just as they were forewarned. The Employer Tax Since workers would now have to buy insurance under the Hillary plan; employers would have to pay for it wherever possible. All large companies would be required to provide health coverage for their workers (a plan, again, specified by the government), or pay a tax to the government. Already paying among the highest corporate tax rates in the industrialized world, this is just what our corporations need — another tax. Once the politicians get used to raiding this corporate cookie jar, the tax will soon be higher than the corporate income tax. When that tax burden leads to unemployment, no problem, we will just raise taxes on the rich again, and pay for more welfare. All of this will just improve the economy, the Clintons promise. The Refundable Tax Credit Where employers don’t pay for health coverage, the government will. Hillary proposes a refundable tax credit for the purchase of health insurance that will leave workers paying no more than a specified percentage of their incomes for the coverage. Hillary’s campaign is already calling this “A Net Tax Cut for American Taxpayers.” The problem with this is that the bottom 40-percent of income earners do not pay any income taxes, and the middle 20-percent now pay for very little (this is the end result of all those Republican tax cuts for the rich all these years). But the tax credit is refundable, meaning that if you don’t have enough tax liability to take advantage of the credit, the government will still send you a check for the entire credit. So the tax credit here is not giving you back your own tax money. It is giving you back other people’s tax money. So this is not, in fact, a tax cut. It is a new spending program, a new entitlement program, in fact. We already have a huge program called Medicaid to pay for health coverage for people who are too poor to pay for it themselves. The federal government is now spending close to $250 billion on this program, in addition to probably another $150 billion from the states. And these costs are just projected to explode and explode again over the next 30 years. In other words, we already can’t afford the Medicaid program as it currently stands. But what Hillary is proposing with these tax credits is a massive expansion of it. And we are back to the democratic chimeras again. Unfortunately, some conservative Republicans have recently toyed around with the idea of refundable tax credits for the purchase of health insurance as well. They have rightly been trying to change tax code incentives to get workers to own their own health insurance rather than relying on employers. Realizing, however, that the tax changes would do nothing for at least half of all workers who now pay little or no income tax, they have been considering various refundable plans to expand the help to lower income workers. The fallacy here is trying to provide assistance to the poor, and to low income workers, through the tax code. This is what Medicaid is for, and lawmakers should focus on helping those with lower incomes through reforming that program. But Hillary is not done with the refundable tax credits. She would provide such credits as well to small businesses who buy health insurance for their workers, paying for as much as 50-percent of premiums for firms with fewer than 25 employees. And she would also bail out big companies, who are now being crushed by foolish past promises to pay for health insurance for their retirees, with still more tax credits. In return, corporate big shots from these companies publicly intone that indeed, it is time for national health insurance. A better solution would be to just have the government take over these already socialized companies and finish running them into the ground. Government-Run Health Care Hillary wisely calls her plan the American Health Choices Plan. Accordingly, everyone will be “free” to choose one of the health insurance options in the Federal Employee Health Benefits Plan. But how is this not government-run health care? No company gets on the list of plans in the FEHBP without first complying with a host of federal requirements and controls. That’s alright when the government is providing insurance for its own employees. But should we be treating all workers in the economy as if they are government workers when it comes to health insurance? Is this not precisely what is meant by excessive government control? While the FEHBP embodies good policy for the federal government dealing with its own employees, excessive rhetoric from the original designers of that system (about how it is a model for all health insurance) has now brought us to the point of believing that all workers in the private economy ought to be treated as government employees when it comes to health care. Hillary will also provide, as another option, the choice of a completely government run, government financed health insurance plan. Why? And, again, how is this not government run health care? Moreover, how benign will this plan really be when she is done subsidizing it up the kazoo, and driving all the private plans out of business with her blizzard of regulatory requirements? Bye, Bye Private Insurance Hillary’s plan will also impose guaranteed issue on all private health-insurance plans. This means that insurers cannot reject anyone for their insurance, even on the grounds that the patient is already woefully sick and costly. Moreover, insurers won’t be able to charge more costly patients higher premiums. Effectively, this would necessarily end any real private insurance in America. Under these requirements, companies are no longer insuring health costs, they are simply financing health costs. Health insurers would be like fire insurers who are required to issue new policies at standard rates to those who show up to buy coverage after their homes have already caught fire. Clearly, this is unworkable. Hillary says the insurers are supposed to be in the business of spreading the risk, not cherry picking the most healthy. But when someone shows up to buy health insurance with cancer and heart disease, we are no longer talking about risks. We are talking about payout. This is not an insurance business. Rest assured, moreover, that the healthy with health insurance do not want to see the “risks” of the irredeemably unhealthy spread to them. Those without health insurance who have become uninsurable can, and should, be served through other means, such as state uninsurable risk pools that do not involve trashing the health-insurance system for everyone else. But trashing the private health-insurance market is exactly what Hillary and her allies advocate. Rationing Finally, there is the Best Practices Institute, which should be called the Ministry of Truth for health care. These folks will study all sorts of medical care, issue protocols, and standards for what is the best way to treat this or that. And don’t expect any insurers anywhere, public or private, to pay for anything other than what these folks say is the best practice. To oppose the Institute, of course, would just be to pay for waste and inefficiency. So this is the ideal mechanism for imposing the inevitably necessary rationing. New, expensive medical breakthroughs will be overlooked, or delayed. If your doctor has a brilliant insight on how to treat you, no problem. All you have to do is go to the Best Practices Institute in Washington, explain why this treatment is the right one for you, and get the regs changed. In this brave new world, life insurance will be a lot more valuable to people than health insurance. Insurers, now all under the control of government, will also impose rationing by squeezing reimbursements to health providers, with the limited funds the new system will allow them, until the providers themselves cut back. This is what the government already does with Medicaid, and increasingly with Medicare. And there is so much more. In Hillary’s three speeches and three papers on her website, she outlines dozens of new health care requirements in her new system, which will not be government run. The government is all wise and all knowing, and just needs to make sure the rickety old health-care system gets it all right, as it is dragged into the 21st century. And when Hillary gets done with those fascist drug companies, you can forget about any new breakthrough drugs coming to market in the future, running up costs. But remember, the system is not government run, and don’t let those nasty Republicans tell you otherwise.
The psychic that made predictions about Britney Spears and Hillary Clinton? There's a famous psychic that makes predicitons at the begining of every year. This year he predicted that Hillary would become president and Britney would commit suicide. I think he's from Mexico. Does anyone know he's name or website or something alond those lines? I just checked Joe Power's website. He's not the one I'm thinking of. This guy was older looking, really skinny and facial hair.

Do these website traffic numbers surprise you? http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/016024.html 1.Ron Paul 2.Barack Obama 3.Hillary Clinton 4.Fred Thompson 5.Mike Huckabee 6.John Edwards 7.Mitt Romney 8.Duncan Hunter 9.Joe Biden 10.Rudy Giuliani 11.John McCain 12.Dennis Kucinich 13.Bill Richardson 14.Mike Gravel 15.Sam Brownback 16.Chris Dodd Do these traffic rankings surprise you? Does this represent an accurate ranking order for how strong the candidates are in general or just among younger voters? What does the fact that Rudy and McCain are so low tell us about them?
How do you use celebrity photos on a website? If you have a website or blog and you want to put up something about a famous person like Bill Clinton or Hillary Duff, how do you use photos of them on your website without problems with permissions? And if the website is for profit does that change anything ?
If the election was held today, would Hillary win? "According to a new Zogby poll, if it the election was held today, and it was between Hillary Clinton and any of the five main GOP contenders, she'd lose. That's right. McCain, Romney, Giuliani, Thompson, and Huckabee would all beat her, if you buy the results of this national survey. So much for Clinton's electability argument. And what about the other Dems? UPDATE: Several commentators to this post have rightly pointed out that Zogby's poll was conducted on-line, at its website. Indeed, that makes it all the more suspect. As my fellow Political Machine blogger Dave reported well after this piece went up, Gallup has just released a new polling data that shows Clinton basically maintaining her lead over Giuliani, and increasing it over other GOP contenders. So there you go. Polls as a snapshot of public opinion. Mabye it's not so bad for Hillary, after all." . http://news.aol.com/political-machine/2007/11/27/clinton-loses-general-election/?ncid=NWS00010000000001 . Bill H: They are ALL poll watchers. However, you are conveniently forgetting the frauds perpetrated in FL, and even with that, Bush "won" by only a miniscule margin. Therefore, the recount which was never finished & that's why the Supreme Court stepped in for the 1st time in history.
Are conservatives overdoing...? the "Clinton sucks" thing? Half the questions on this website are just bashing Hillary Clinton. Everyone already knows that conservatives hate Hillary Clinton, they've already made that point clear. A lot of them are focusing more time on hating Clinton than on promoting their own candidates. Some moderates would go to the Republican side for the sake that they hate Clinton too, but I don't see the Republican's doing a good job trying to attract those who don't hate her. I haven't heard any good arguments to vote Republican this election that were not based on "Hillary Clinton is socialist scum." Is it about time they changed their approach to sometime more welcoming to get more people on their side? Or do you think this approach is the right way about winning the next election? it says I have 2 answers... but i only have one... aw man, i was so excited to see a new one. talking bad about the man who has power is different than bashing a candidate a year before elections. Bush is already the president, we can't change that... but it seems to me more time should be spent supporting your own candidates rather than just bashing others. it makes since if Clinton is the president and you don't like her to talk bad about her... but she isn't and might not even get a chance to be, why bother now?
Why care about Hillary? She can't lead her own marriage much longer a country. She voted for us to be in a war against Iraq which has put our troops in harms way. Then she changes courses when things seemed to have gone downhill for the war. Now down below I copied some good reasons why Hillary should not be elected from a website http://www.tpmcafe.com/story/2005/11/18/19734/514 1) Front Runners Always Go Down- Howard Dean was the front-runner for our nomination in 2004, and was the man to beat. As a result, he took on the vast negative attacks that stripped him of the nomination, and maybe the Presidency. In 2000, John McCain had the lead on Bush and he himself was taken down by a smear campaign. Hillary will not be spared of these attacks, and with all of the past scandals her opponents will have a lot of ammo to fire. By the time Iowa comes she will be stripped of her momentum, and will place behind in polls. 2) The Media questions her ability to be elected- The people who vote in primaries are the ones who watch CNN or any other news network each night. Anchors already question if Hillary could even win in California, one of the more blue states. The voters are going to want someone who is competent, and can win and will end up voting for John Edwards, Mark Warner, Evan Bayh, or Russ Feingold or any other leading male candidate. Like Dean the electability issue will strip her from the nomination, and unlike Dean maybe rightfully so. Could you really see Clinton winning over swing states like Ohio or a Southern state like Virginia in the national election? 3) Polls are Questionable- She may have a 30 point lead, but really are these polls right? The answer is yes and no. Yes in that amongst the typical everyday Democrat responded with Clinton. So there is no doubt that the people actually answered with the candidate with last name Clinton. No, as in the people that are polled are not the ones who necessarily vote in primaries. You know the type the ones who would vote in the main election but too busy to vote in primaries. They primarily answer by name recognition, and Clinton is one very popular name. Also, this early on no one knows the unknown candidates like Bayh, Warner or Russ Feingold whose primary campaign makes the candidates known to the public. 4) Liberals can smell a phony- One thing we do not like is a liberal maneuvering to the middle in order to win. We respect and maybe vote for legit moderates like Bayh, Warner, or Bill Clinton in 1992, but not someone who moves to the middle to prove her ability to be elected. Plus, her unyielding support for the Iraq War does not sit well in our bellies. 5) She does not have the stuff to win- Hillary is down right smart, and many people who know her personally say that she is has a charming personality. The problem is when she gets in front of the microphone she puts on an act that is total business and no personality. Voters love a candidate, who can are competent, gets serious, but can also show a more personal side in public. Bill Clinton was able to do this and won over America, as did JFK, and even a John Edwards. Also, in these desperate times, voters are looking for a competent politican to fix are ailing woes, and will be very reluctant to take a gamble with a first ever woman President. Make voters would question her ability to protect America, and to win the conflicts that we are engaged in, a voting block that we need to win over to take back the White House. 6) First primaries and Caucus are in more rural places- If the first primary state was in urban state like New York, I would say she had a pretty good shot. The first states are in more rural states. Iowa voters will want someone that represents them, and a candidate from an urban state will not. You'll counter argue that Kerry won in this state. Kerry, did well since he was a veteran, and marketed himself as guy sitting on back porch drinking a beer, normal type guy. Also, he had the cash to put him to the top. Hillary will have the cash, but do you see her, as a candidate who could sit down with voters on the porch and have a beer, trying to win their vote? Really, try to picture it. I sure in the hell can't. Now, you are probably thinking to yourself what in the hell does being able to have a beer on some voters porch have to do with anything? Well up front not a whole lot, but deep down it is a matter of connecting with the voters, and seeming like one of them. Iowa, like my home state is a lot like that, you farm till sundown then you go home, sit on your porch and have a relaxing beer. Hunting is also big in Iowa, and rural states. Could you see Hillary with hunting camo on, shooting at deer or ducks? New Hampshire is more moderate as well, it is one of those swing states. Plus, if we change our lineup, and add a Southern state like Mississippi, will voters want her to be the nominee there or someone like Mark Warner, Evan Bayh, Wes Clark, or John Edwards? My aim in this article is not to question Hillary’s competence, which I respect in many ways, and she is a member of my party. I am merely showing why I think she will not win the nomination, and if she does we will be licking our wounds once again in 2008. I personally know many loyal Democrats who would say hell no to voting for Hillary. Then I hear people mention to me that Hillary is running for President, and they always ask me if she can win, you know my answer, now what is yours?
Hillary Clinton and National Security? On September 11th, 2001 the United States of America was attacked. We all know this. This has brought us to war in Afghanistan and Iraq, long with striking terrorists where they maybe. The last known was in southwest Somalia, where a US Naval warship destroyed a terrorist home based on intelligence provided. In flipping through HillaryClinton.com I was looking at her Issues section of her website. She doesn't have anything on National Security. The only thing she has on there is about ending the war in Iraq, saying that within 60 days she will start bringing our troops home. A 60 day removal plan? Would be interesting in theory, but only in theory. Does she know National Security? http://forums.charlesahall.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5
Does anyone know where I can get a good looking Hillary Clinton T-shirt? Please note, I already looked at her official campaign website, ebay, and on CafePress.com. All of the shirts look pretty nerdy and tacky. Gives politics a bad name.... I am a semi-muscular guy and am actually in search of a muscle tee for men. Let me know what you think. And no, I do not care to know your opinion of her so do not waste your time! Thanks
Hillary & Obama supporters... Why?? Why are you supporting/planning to vote for either one?! If you are voting for Hillary is it because she is a women because that is not a legit reason. You clearly must not know about her past because if you go to this website http://members.tripod.com/~GOPcapitalist/clinton-scandals.html it lists all the scandals she was involved in. How could you trust some one like that? What good has she done?? I could go on and on about how bad she is. As far as Obama goes he says he is against illegal immigration, but yet he sponsored Relief and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act of 2007, which would allow states to give illegal immigrants in-state tuition for higher education and let the homeland security secretary confer legal resident status on some illegal immigrant students. Huh?http://politics.nytimes.com/election-guide/2008/issues/immigration/index.html Please tell me good reason WHY?! you are supporting or planning to vote for either of these two.
Anybody else see this website select2008.com? I checked it out and was able to quickly ascertain that its a website designed to make you believe you are aligned with Hillary Clinton. Either that or Hillary is an Independent that swings toward Republican. Universal Healthcare questions riddle the entire questionarre and its obvious after a while that its a set up. And McCain and Paul don't even appear as candidates.
CNN website spreading wrong words for candidates...for their ratings?? What do you think? Former Sen. John Edwards blasted Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama over their handling of a recent war spending bill.......CNN website I watched the debate with 10 other independent voters....we didnot see any blasting going on - they respectfully disagreed. I think CNN ratings are down - compared to FOX - thats why CNN is not spreading out some nasty words - so that candidates can start a fight and CNN's ratings goes up? Its bad journalism - CNN People should learn from Cusinich - spread peace and harmony - not hatred and war - so that CNN's ratings go up. Wolf Blitzer did a good job though.
"Rural Americans For Hillary".....? Honestly, here is the article...what are your opinions on this? So later this month, according to THIS INVITATION, the presidential campaign of Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, is holding a "Rural Americans for Hillary" lunch and campaign briefing at the end of this month…. ..but she's holding it in Washington, DC…. …at a lobbying firm… … and specifically, though it's not mentioned in the invitation, at the lobbying firm Troutman Sanders Public Affairs… …which just so happens to lobby for the controversial multinational agri-biotech Monsanto. You read that right: Monsanto, about which there are serious questions about its culpability regarding 56 Superfund Sites, wanton and "outrageous" pollution, and the decidedly unkosher (and quite metaphoric) genetically-bred "Superpig." …A company that the website "Ethical Investing" labels "the world's most unethical and harmful investment." Holding an agri-summit in the plush halls of the lobbyists for Monsanto doesn't sound like the kind of "rural Americans" a presidential candidate would necessarily want to be photographed with. Particularly if Clinton's two primary opponents -- former Sen. John Edwards, D-NC, and Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill. -- don't take money from lobbyists and are trying to depict the frontrunner as too much a part of the corrupt Washington system, lobbyists, corporate America, et al…. But then again, it doesn't say Clinton will attend this luncheon -- just senior staffers and congressional endorsers! (Is that better or worse?) Response from the Clinton campaign to come…. Source: http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2007/10/yee-haw.html#comments It really makes me laugh...I mean rural Americans are not that stupid...I suppose since the word rural is there she must think we are though.....lol....
So do you prefer someone with a real program and who makes change or someone who talks only about "change" ? French, I don't understand why Hillary Clinton is so criticized on this website...Despite the fact that she is in campaign, she has proposed an economic plan before beeing elected...People can say what they want about her, she's perhaps not perfect, but she's seems to be the only one who has a real program for USA...She's acting now. What is the Obama's real program behind his leitmotiv "change" ? Can you tell me why Obama is so blur about his program ? He is more blur than our President (who talked about change all the time too during his campaign, now we know how much it costs) @Yeswecan : I know this link...And that's why I'm asking my question... I don't find him very consistent nor realistic. http://my.barackobama.com/page/content/fpccga/ I read it several time, and I found it completely ridiculous...Has he really an idea about how the world is changing or is he a false dreamer ?
Fred Thompson tied with Hillary in the primaries????? This site has Fred Thompson tied with Hillary Clinton in the primaries!! And he's not even running! http://rasmussenreports.com/Political%20Tracking/Presidential%20Match-Ups/March%202007/Thompsonvs.ObamaClinton20070323.htm Think it's a "biased website"? Well, they were the most accurate in predicting the 2004 election: http://www.slate.com/id/2110860/ Could Fred Thompson be the key for another GOP victory? Could he be the next Ronald Reagan? Dems, if you could, find as many controversies as you can with this guy. I want to see if he is the real-deal. ---AAhh, yess. Polls. Sorry, i got a little excited.
Do you want to vote for Barack? CLinton? Edwards? Giuliani? Romney?? Fred Thompson? McCain???? I can never ever vote for the following: Hillary Clinton John Edwards Mitt Romney Rudy Giuliani Fred Thompson John McCain Bill Richardson Newt Gingrich Barack Obama Chris Dodd Despite what they say about all the good things they would do because they are members of the CFR. and want to obliterate the borders and our national sovereignty. Not a myth, not a theory ....A FACT. Research the paper entitled Building a North American Community of the CFR website. President of CFR RIchard Haas said " Some governments are prepared to give up elements of sovereignty to address the threat of global climate change...sovereignty must be redefined if the states are to cope with globalisation" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vo5czvd3-... Not my idea of the world Iwant my children to live in I am sorry.
Are Democrats smart enough to nominate Obama or Richardson or will they nominate Clinton the divider? Need someone that doesn't have high negatives: http://news.yahoo.com/s/time/20071106/us_time/obamasredstateappeal On Monday, the Obama campaign announced that over 300 Iowa and New Hampshire Republicans had decided to cross party lines to support Obama. At Obama events in Oklahoma, Kentucky, Virginia and Georgia, a good 20% of audiences routinely raise their hands when emcees ask for Republicans in the crowd. A "Republicans for Obama" website has 11 state chapters with 146 members. An August University of Iowa even found Obama running third in the state among Republican candidates, behind Romney and Giuliani but ahead of both Thompson and McCain. And a national Gallup poll this month also found that nearly as many Republicans like Obama - 39% - than the 43% that dislike him, compared with the 78% of Republicans who held an unfavorable opinion of Hillary Clinton. Obama in '04: "There is not a liberal America and a conservative America - there is the United States of America."
Where can I find a free website template for a dictionary or a quotation site?
