Mitt Romney Wikipedia Knowledge Base
What do you think about Mitt Romney for pres? Me personally i like him, although im a supporter of Guiliani at this point im really starting to like this guy! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitt_Romney Dude knuckles just stop! And how did you manage to get a thumbs up?
Presidential candidate Mitt Romney has Yahoo! questions, does he have a chance? Interesting to note that I've not heard of Mitt Romney before, yet he is a Republican presidential candidate. The media hypes up the Democratic candidates, but reading his bio on Wikipedia, I'd have to say he has a real chance as the next president. His Yahoo question on taxes has thousands of answers. Does he have a good chance to win? And why so little in the media about him?
Even if Mitt Romney is a mormon....? because he is a mormon & "supposedly believes in a different God"...does this affect how he will act as President? Is there suddenly a God 1 and a God 2. There are some major differences but don't Mormons have the same ideas in a sense of trying to get back to heaven? Romney seems to be the only candidate that really has his religion talked about.I think because of this people should truly try to learn about it....such as going to the lds.org website where it is not just peoples opinions. I would find this the smartest thing to do with anyones religion. & if you research on Wikipedia it talks about polygamy being banned in his religion. Are people really so illiterate they still have not read this? I just think this should have nothing to do with him running for president. Candidates should be viewed not on their religion but themselves. & personally it is not "selling religion". No one is forced into it. Many are grateful for the opportunity....others say no thanks. They have a choice. This does not mean Romney will make everyone be a Mormon nor could he.
I think the 2012 Presidental election is going to come down to Obama & Biden VS. Romney & DeMint? If Romney wou the Repulican Primary, I think he might choose Demint as his running mate. Obama & Biden would win in the general election... Please do not say we need to consentrait on now, stop with what ifs, or anything like that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitt_Romney http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Demint Obama & Biden 2012 If not Demint then who? Maybe Obama & Biden VS. Mitt Romney & Richard Santorum Instead of Obama & Biden VS. Romney & DeMint http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_Santorum Richard Santorum is a former Senator from PA Maybe: Obama & Biden VS. Romney & Rice I am still for Obama & Biden!!!!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Condi_Rice No one else will answer, so I guess I will put this question to a vote...
If Mitt Romney became President, would the Mormon church....? Baptize all 38 dead presidents? After all they have done it with pretty much every dead celebrity, political figure, ancetsor of any living Mormon (hence the genealogy fixation), and my person favorite, Holocaust Victims! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baptism_for_the_dead
Is Mitt Romney really one to talk about the Sanctity of Marriage? The Kingston Clan is a church of Mormon Fundamentalists in Utah. Plural marriage is practiced among the community and there have been numerous legal issues regarding this in the state of Utah. Most familiar of these are the civil cases against Kingston Clan members for having polygamous relationships with members of their own extended family, including underage girls. For example, Kingston Clan member Jeremy Ortell Kingston was sentenced to a year in prison in 2004 for having taken a 15 year old girl, LuAnn Kingston, who was both his cousin and his aunt, as his fourth wife in 1994. There are approximately 2000 members of this group. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latter_Day_Church_of_Christ (I just think Mormons should know who they're up against if they start dissing Gays... what do you think?) It's kind of sad watching people cling to the idea that a group of fundamentalists has "nothing at all" to do with their religion... fundamentally speaking...
What do you think about having a mormon for a president? From what i hear Romny is a pretty cool guy. If he can get himself reconized for 2008, he'll run for president. But from all the weird and odd things you hear about mormons, would you decline him just because of it? http://www.mass.gov/?pageID=gov2terminal&L=2&L0=Home&L1=Romney+Team&sid=Agov2&f=gov_mittromneybio_homepage&csid=Agov2&b=terminalcontent http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitt_Romney
Would you vote for a Mormon pres? I like Mitt Romney, although I support Guiliani right now this guy is pretty impressive. Do you think that him being Mormon will effect his chances? Id do it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitt_Romney Come on ya gotta admit, he looks like a president.
Is the President of the American Red Cross paid too much? Does the President of the American Red Cross really make over $600,000.00 US Dollars per year? If so, I would like to nominate Mitt Romney to be the President of the American Red Cross. Mitt Romney contributed $1 million to the Olympics, and donated the $825,000 salary he earned as President and CEO to charity.[24] Source Wikipedia.org http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitt_Romney#CEO_of_the_2002_Winter_Olympics Why would those of us who struggle to contribute a little money want so much to go to the President of the Red Cross? Do I hear a "secondary motion" that Mitt Romney run for the President of the American Red Cross and clean it up like he did the Salt Lake City Olympics? ------------ In another thread, we determined that LDS Humanitarian fund spends 100% of donations ear-marked for disaster relief to disaster relief and picks up the overhead from the Church's general fund. In alphabetical order, the nine candidates are named below by their last names: Giuliani, Huckabee, Hunter, McCain, Paul, Romney, Tancredo, Thompson Here is a list of the ful names, as listed on WIkipedia: Rudy Giuliani Mike Huckabee Duncan Hunter John McCain Ron Paul Mitt Romney Tom Tancredo Fred Thompson http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_Republican_presidential_candidates
Is Fox News the worst news site? Is this why Ron Paul lost? Seriously what is going on?!?!? Hello. I was just looking over state primaries over my candidate Ron Paul and I noticed something that disturbed me. I went to wikipedia.com: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Results_of_the_2008_Republican_Party_presidential_primaries It stated for the State of Nevada: Mitt Romney 51% Ron Paul 14% John McCain 13% Mike Huckabee 8% Fred Thompson 8% Rudy Giuliani 4% Duncan Hunter 2% Mitt Romney wins the state of Nevada. Ron Paul gets second place. Now take a careful look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsoSX_b4lSo Fox News here states that Ron Paul actually got 3rd place if you look at the polls below. That's one mistake. Second mistake is when they mention the people, the mentioned Romney, McCain, and Huckabee but nothing about Paul. I mean McCain and Huckabee scored below Ron Paul and Fox never said that. They mentioned him below where you can barely see but never talked about him. This disturbed me. What is going on? OMG- That is not Fox stating that. That is the creater of the video mentioning that. How come Fox never said what Ron Paul got but said what some lower scores got? Is this biased or what?
Should A President Own All Media? I would very much appreciate your feelings on this. Thank you. I just learned that Mitt Romney's private equity firm, Bain Capital , and Thomas H. Lee Partners have agreed to pay in a leveraged buyout agreement with Clear Channel Communications , the largest radio station owner in the country for 19.5 Billion. This is the release from Clearchannel's website: http://www.clearchannel.com/Corporate/PressRelease.aspx?PressReleaseID=1824 and BAIN CAPITAL:: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/bain_c... Clear Channel owns over 1,100 full-power AM, FM, and shortwave radio stations, twelve radio channels on Satellite Radio, and more than 30 television stations in the United States. Premiere Radio Networks , which is the largest syndication company in the United States, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Clear Channel and is home to Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and many other household names. Could it be that Romney will use his new-found media outlet as a passive wing of his Campaign? Sorry that Bain Capitol link didn't work. Here it is.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bain_Capital
What are the chances that in the next 20 years we can have a President and Government majority....? without any connection whatsoever to the CFR. For those unsure of what the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) is about, a somewhat non-biased explanation can be found where most super-biased explanations live, Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Council_on_Foreign_Relations From what I understand, the following candidates in this years election are either members or closely related, so we really don't have much of a chance this year. Hillary Clinton - Bill is a member. Rudy Guliani - member Fred Thompson - member Barack Obama - wife is a member Mitt Romney - believe he is a member John Edwards - believe he is a member Not sure where Huckabee is related Not related: (the guys that have no chance) Ron Paul - he is also a nut job though. Dennis Kucinich Mike Gravel Don't endorse any of these guys, not affiliated with either political party, just concerned that not only have the same two families run this country for years, the CFR has run it longer. to add... CFR members run NBC, CBS, and Time Warner (the media) CFR promotes a North America Nation and one currency, and eventually one world government (which members would run, of course). Just about every President since Wilson (the Fourteen Points, "League of Nations" guy... sound familiar) has been a member at some time, or related to one closely in some way. Dick Cheney is a member, although he denied it during the 2000 election. It is rumored JFK split with the group shortly before his assassination. Considered the most powerful world player in World Policy after the State Dept, whose members run, of course. ( Condi is a member ). any thoughts...? # 3 - that's why it is our job to start voting them out. #4... you may be taking it a little too far. #5 - from what I've determined I think I'd prefer the Scientologists. I like the answer though.
I wanted to find these questions? In wikipedia it said: Several celebrities and notables have appeared on Yahoo! Answers to ask questions. These users have an "official" badge below their avatar and on their profile page. During the 2008 U.S. Presidential campaign Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Barack Obama, and Mitt Romney posted questions on Yahoo! Answers in addition to YouTube.[11] In an awareness campaign, "UNICEF Up Close 2007", nine UNICEF ambassadors asked questions.[12][13] The launch of Answers on Yahoo! India included a question from A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, the President of India at that time.[14] Other guests have included international leaders (Queen Rania of Jordan [1], candidate for United Nations Secretary-General, Shashi Tharoor [2]), Nobel Peace Prize laureates (Al Gore[15][16], Muhammad Yunus [3]) and other international activists (Bono[15], Jean-Michel Cousteau [4]), intellectuals (Stephen Hawking[15], Marilyn vos Savant[16]), and numerous celebrities. Does anyone know of these questions and if you do, can you link them here
